For those who say, "PC Fanboys" have never been near a mac.... in case most of you didn't know, Governmental schools had mac computers in their computer labs..... Until Windows 95 came along and tossed them out the windows. So yes, I've used macs at school and at home... but after Windows 95 came out, I stock with Windows, and yes I've also been on the new Leopard version, and I still stick to windows, not because am in love with Windows, but because it makes gaming fucking awesome.

@gitghetto Yes. Adobe has code that is constantly ported from on to the other, therefore more thinly spread, making their applications hard to run after being ported so many times, although old Mac's run them just as well as newer ones.

Also, Final Cut is written specified, optimized, and critically examined for mac code, making it some of the best and most professional program out there. Vegas doesn't compare. Adobe doesn't compare.

First, explain to me why you would port something to windows, and then proceed to port that port back to mac. and then port the port of the port back to windows. that doesn't sense. and what does more thinly spread mean? seriously? thinly spread? this has to do with programming, not jelly.

@gitghetto First, make it for PC. The port it to mac. But when they try to improve teh PC version they hardly rewrite anything, but instead add on. Then you port over add-ons. Almost everything adobe is a port of a port. That's why a lot of their earlier versions are better or more stable.

And thinly spread means that they've probably made a little too much to take care of. They don't have enough resources on their Mac team.

@Rifalltoo Ok, for one, you don't port. Mac is based on Unix, whereas windows, (in layman's terms), is basically an addon for MS-DOS, which is it's own OS. This means that the code is completely different, and the program has to be re-written for each OS. That's why theres so few games for mac, because no company wants to take the time to rewrite their entire game for mac when they won't even make any money for it. (cider is a different story). and you contradicted yourself twice btw.
