I saw this movie. I can't really say if I liked it or not. It was interesting, I guess. I don't understand why they didn't just come out and say it was Dylan, and why all the different actors? Anyway, Cate Blanchett did the best job in the movie, in my opinion. She seemed the most like Bob. And David Cross as Ginsberg...haha, that was a nice cameo.

You have to watch the movie a few times to understand. Knowing so much about Bob Dylan's life, I really got it the first time. Cate Blanchett did a good job portraying Bob Dylan though.

I think the scene shows them rolling in the grass as if they were playing because Bob had probably never met anyone in his life that was so much like him up until then. They're around the same age, and they're all geniuses...and the drug thing the buddy said below.

The way I see it is that they named that representation of Bob "Jude" because Jude's the one who caused the uproar with electric guitar and when Bob did that in real life, one of the audience members called him Judas.
