Not to damper anyones spirits in this suit but, has anyone actually tested the ballistics of the suit? You give me the chest plate, a balloon, some silicon gel and a glass jar filled with red dye and you can do your own balistics test. the glass jar with red dye would be the heart.

Maybe he should use some of that ballistic foam to create a neck guard. A good marksman could render the armor useless just by shooting him in the neck.

hhhmmm since there r problems in the armour, Troy is currently tries to build a more lighter, more flexible, more complete armour coverage and tougher than this type. Suggestion: I think Trojan Armour S should have more pockets for ammo etc but can a HUD system be fitted in the helmet as well? Just asking, need some sugestings :S

Maybe he could somehow strike a deal with Pinnicle Armor and implement the DragonSkin armor into his suit. But I doubt it. The gadgets are nice though. (It's sort of like ODST armor)

actually the USAF terminated the contract with the company that made the dragon skin because the disks on in the armor were faulty

@BebopBluesM11 No you're an idiot. If you knew anything this man made 1313 paste. Which was tested by the military and it took many Sniper rounds larger then 7.56 in the EXACT SAME SPOT over and over again and never pierced. And it can withstand explosives. This suit is full of 1313 paste.

@zeldafreak66 there's no way you're gonna be able to shoulder a rifle and rest your cheek on it, let along look down a tube. Only thing good about this is the fact that it will withstand against ballistics but, that's pretty much it. Flexibility-obviously a fail. Weight-probably is another fail and the simple fact that you can't aim your own rifle is terrible especially with that huge motorcycle helmet all modded out.

In the end, it's overall economically a bad place to spend.

@zeldafreak66 Even if it is full of a supposedly bullet-resistant 'paste' (I'd like to see these tests, myself), it wouldn't help if you can't use the damn thing. I doubt you could attach anything you actually need on the battlefield to this suit. There's no room for magazine pouches, modern radio equipment, no visible way to aim down the sight of a weapon, no ventilation (huge negative in almost any environment)... weight usage (it'd add to an already heavily-burdened soldier)... and mobility.

seems useless. Although bulletproof, it would cost a lot to produce, the helmet limits visibility, and lastly, it is too bulky. It would restrict movement.

hmm, but even then, the red visor is a bad idea (limits visibility), and it is a little bulky. In CQB it would not be very suitable for mobility. If it weighs 50 pounds, then he should realize a soldier already carries a large backpack full of rations and such. Then comes the fact that he has not tried holding a rifle with the suit. How does he plan to aim and shoot with something like that? There are many variables that have to be considered

it doesn't cost that much per suit, i think thats just how much it cost him to make the first one, with research, probably a ton of tests, bullets to shoot it, guns with which to shoot it, blah blah... so thats how much it cost to make THAT suit, but the cost to make another one would probably be far less, because now he knows how to make it.
