This is horrible. Track is one of the greatest sports in the world and UD is just cutting it because they need to "fix the budget". That's insane. Why don't they make cuts to football or basketball? If they cut about 3 spots from the basketball team, they can save the same amount of money as the entire track/xc teams. Plus, why do you even need 400+ football spots? That is crazy. UD needs to get their priorities straight. I am appalled and I have lost faith in the University of Delaware.

Track and Field are the cheapest sports to fund, I don't see why they are always the first to go. I feel that track and field and cross country gives kids more opportunities to excel and grow as a person then do other sports
