  • i love thi song - proper class !!!

  • I can't understand why nappy has no family to organise a head stone ? across the world he impressed people with his music.

Just so sad that such a star has no head stone promptly.

Did nappy fall out with his family?

  • Can't sit still whenever I hear this one I just wanna get up and jive :)

  • Nappy lived in Charlotte, as do I. Last night on the local tv station they announced that enough money had finally been raised for a proper headstone. We were further informed that there is now another problem.....No one can find his grave. Now THAT is a sad ending for a man who made a lot of people feel good.

  • Nappy is/ was Dyno-Mite. We saw him ONE time at the Big Muddy Blues Festival in Davenport, Ia a few years ago. I had never heard of him...and it was an experience to remember. We are truly sorry that Nappy is gone. He will be missed.

  • Love this!

  • Good ole Nappy. Great music like this needs more airtime.

  • There was no way in the 50's or now could you be depressed listening to this song, Sax solo fantastic.

  • this is my best friends grandfather

  • Bloody brilliant. What a great Rock and Roll song. It's a shame he did n't stay with this style of music instead of going into where he went. Lovely voice and a great backing beat.

  • just occurred to me that Maurice Williams's

style might have been influenced by Nappy's -

or was it the other way around?

  • rip

  • RIP Nappy Brown.

  • one of his daughters, use to give me the best advice she died during the summer of 1998
