Nah sorry mate. i'm from new zealand. i found the pale ale pretty bland for what they made it out to be. theres a hop count of the bottle the pale ale is 23 hops per 500mL. the armageddon(60IBU) has 42/500mL and the hop zombie(80IBU) has a skull instead of a number. NZ actually has some really good microbreweries.

@djhc123 So it wasn't just us then? Thank god. What are your NZ go to's? I really want to give EPIC another shot. We are really big HOP heads on this show so we are up for the challenge.

@TheBEERSgoneBAD There aren't any/many large breweries that brew REALLY hoppy beers but there are tons of microbreweries. my favourite kiwi IPA's are probably the Epic Hop zombie and armageddon, 8wired HopWired IPA and Mike's organic double IPA. I doubt you'll be able to find the mike's ipa over there though. I heard the Emerson's IPA is really good but I haven't tried it yet. I've had some of their others and I really enjoyed them.
