This is a live screen recording of actual events upon the ebay website. This was witnessed & documented far & wide. This is as real as it gets.

There is an associated blog post with further screencaps etc. Look in vid info.

When this happened, ebay removed warnings to hapless would be consumers posted on their forums long before they removed the fake listings, leaving the site users in harms way.

If everyone does this it will be impossible to stop. put at least 100 listings of actual "HOT" items in the titles so buyers can find them easlily. THIS WILL WORK. Just make a throw away account and get ebay's turbolister and start listing. I think there should even a a planned 1 day event for this so it all happens at once and everything crashes! There are also numerous screencaps, and these incidents were observed & discussed far & wide. See the associated blog posts.

The fact is I did document this massive hack attack, along with the thread deletions which would have warned potential victims.

In Fact, the lifespan of that thread was a around 2.5-3 hrs.

These listings stayed up for MUCH MUCH longer.

Now why would ebay delete that thread & leave the FAKE listings up? Let alone close the holes?

IMO ebay is better at covering up than cleaning up & I have documented many examples.
