as far as I'm aware, wee Katie is doing very well, and is hopefully going to gradually. be back to school next year as she builds up her strength.

Miracles do happen - keep the faith.

the other good thing is that another donor was found for someone else as a result of the recent clinics - Brilliant!

some great news! They found three perfect matches for Katie ....... And she will get a transplant on the 21st of August; still has a lot to go through, she will get intense chemo and radiation treatment for three months afterwards .... But at least she has a fighting chance now - thank God !!

can anyone please inform me of future clinics i know lots of people who are seeking to go for the test. I hope someone is found soon, i worked for the family years ago and was very sad to hear this news. Katie is in our Prayers.

Thanks to everyone who has attended a clinic to register as a bone marrow donor. It is heart-warming to see that there are so many good people out there who want to help this beautiful little girl.

We will continue to hold clinics for as long as we can and will update this site with the information.

My sister and I went to East Kilbride tonight to take the test. It was so easy and painless. After 1/2 an hour it was all over, friends of Katie's family did a fantastic job of keeping everyone organised as there was a fabulous turnout.
