  • im 14 i bought a 69 el camino with a little help from my dad and a 70 right now its just peaces and where using the 70 as a scrap car…..::350 muncie 4 speed 373 rear end

  • love those wheels

  • RADICAL!!!!

  • My first car was a restored and rebuilt 1969 Riviera GS ... I regret ever getting rid of that car.

  • now thats some true American muscle

  • My dad and I are fixing up a 1968 4 door Chevelle Malibu, 327 and it is a beautiful car. Can't believe I have one at 16.

  • thats an awsome car i wish i could get the one by my gradmas house its got a 454 with a 4 speed but it belonged to a kid who died and thekids dad wont sell the carr

  • holy shit, im pretty sure i know a guy whos fixing one of these up...396 SS chevelle, dont know the year but it looks the exact same as this with a dark blue paintjob :]

  • boner

  • i want one ......

  • A 68 would be a dream come true

  • solid fucking GM iron, it does not get any better than that !!!!

  • DETROIT IRON RULES!

  • Nice man!

  • thats what i want when im 16. not a fucking prius

  • @JTR1VideoGaming Hey somebody raised you right! Good man!

  • @JTR1VideoGaming I would too. But I live in Ohio, so I'm not driving a jewel in snow. That'd be pretty stupid of me.

  • nice velle bro, i have a 71 and 72 im working on right now

  • Lol for earlray156... Yeah I love Civics too. Turning in my testicles along with the money when I purchased it was great! Perfect little cunt-car. lol Fuckin stupid. A civic... REALLY? I fucking love muscle cars. but i understand there is also the tuner class of performance car. If you want to sit and argue, at least get some kind of real performance jap car. A supra maybe?

  • how do you get that idling, by changing the cams?

  • i could listen to that car all day

  • @delsold16z6

Me too, had a red & black 68 chevelle back in 71 (senior in high school), My boyfriend taught me how to speed shift, it's a feeling like none other. Thanks for sharing.

  • Nice car. You don't see too many post SS cars anymore. Looks MINT....fresh resto?

  • love the rubber on the driveway!!

  • In 68 the SS Chevelle was its own model; the SS396. In 1969 the Chevelle SS was an option that could be ordered on any two-door Chevelle body style. This being said, there is no way this car is a true SS396 car. A 'post' SS Chevelle is only available after 1969. Anything before that year that is not a true coupe is not a real SS. I'm not trashing the car or SS clones in any way, it looks and sounds amazing. I just wanted to clarify the confusion.

  • So i've heard you can turn a malibu into a SS pretty easily..how can u do that?

  • nice...71,72 are better

  • sweet

  • theres some dumb ass with one same as this but with 24 inch gay rims and fart can exhaust. poor car

  • beautiful car. keep it clean and runnin good, this will be worth some big money down the line

  • Awesome sound

  • Okay wait im confused, is it a 396, or a 427??

  • @Ratmouth66 im thinking it WAS the 396 but they replaced it with a 427

  • @JoeRapstar Good call ;-)

  • Sounds like a taxi cab

  • Very nice Chevelle. I miss my old 69 396. Sounds really good bud. Beauty.

  • NASTY!

  • That's a seriously nice tone, not too loud but definitelty worth turning the radio off and listening to! Very nice!

  • how come your bud took the trim off the windows

  • lmao earlray156 u my man are a true dumbfuck. this car unrestored with no engine, wheels, or interior would STILL be worth more than ur p.o.s. civic! fuck an import its all about american muscle!

love ur car by the way man. sounds real mean

  • I just jizzed my shorts

  • y all u guys b haitin this is a nice nova best one ive seen so far. what kind of engine does your friend have?

  • sounds like eating stones under hod

  • Nice car. Don't mind the comments from the ricers....IMPORTS ALL SUCK ! ...........BUY AMERICAN LOSERS.

  • Wow, a rare 330 model Chevelle!

  • thats like a whole rock concert all by itself! hahah very nice classic bud!

  • its not a true ss. ive got a dealership brochure that features all of the options and the post car was the cheap version without hidden windshield wipers

  • this was originally a "chevelle 300" hence the post. is it rare? yes. is it a true SS? no. and if it is zoom in on the dash and show the numbers "138" if not, type in "ss clone"

  • yeah and for the dude with the civic, i bet you spent a small fortune just to get your burner to run high 12's, these cars here run that all day with just headers and good tires or even faster and yinz always gotta use the nitrous because your motors are weak! Put the same amount of money that u put into your civic into a muscle car and it will probably run 8's in the quarter.

  • hey exoticlown, it should kill mustangs already! Which 396 do u have? 325, 350 or the top dog l/78?

  • nice cam, that's what a real car sounds like. I wish they would put cams like that in cars today!

  • ok it says its a 396 then 427 which is it?

  • animal stickers are the best

    hahahaha

  • i love it that u didnt feel the need for racing stripes like everyone else with camaros and chevelles and so on.. beautiful car

  • i think he wanted to keep it original looking, only 70s and up chevelles had racing stripes, although the 68 and 69 had the SS side stripe.

  • Please RESPOND! I need some help and I feel stupid asking this but I have a 1966 Chevelle 396 and I need to add some Major Horses and torque to it and I don't know what to add. Please give me a list of a ton of parts I can put into it without just going out and getting a bigger motor like a 502 or some shit. I need this bitch as powerful as I can get her but I can' spend over 4-5 grand on it. Just give me a list of parts that are street legal and I can add to the 396 to get it to kill mustangs.

  • synthetic blinker fluid, ceramic muffler bearings and chrome wheels will help, but if you want to make the big power you need stickers. lots of em. each one adds 5-17% horsepower. if you still have any digni, i mean money left after you buy these, get underglow. it will drastically increase downforce. hope that helps.

  • @hereforthechicks not the "NOS" stickers. they add 150hp no matter what...

  • @hereforthechicks I have also head that 4' high wings add 375 h.p.! And the coffee can exhaust, well, that just makes it a 9 sec. car right there! :)

  • @hereforthechicks good one----love it

  • @hereforthechicks do not forget the flux capacitor you need those to go real fast oh and a box of ju-jus

  • @hereforthechicks and dont forget an aluminum uterus pump lol

  • @hereforthechicks you sir, are a winner

  • @hereforthechicks You forgot about adding one can of compression, and maybe some windshield wiper gaskets, those always help!

  • @hereforthechicks hahahahaha thats fuckin hilarious!

  • That machine has lungs man!

  • chevy put wheels kinda like that for chevelles or atleast for 70 chevelle ss

  • are those magnum 500 wheels? on a chevy chevelle

  • there pizza cutters

  • Those wheels are stock for the '69 and '70 model years. They are incorrect for the car, but look nice anyway. "Magnum 500" wheels--used on many other makes and models--are a similar design, but are chromed and don't use a trim ring.

  • @bosooooooooooooooooo that is the style. most cars had a variety of mag 500s.

  • what do you mean how much will it be worth when we cant get gas for em? we run at least 93? who said thats goin anywhere. and how bout this, my impala weights 2 tons. your civic is probably tippin the scale @ 1600lbs? how much will it be worth when a good gust of wind blows it away?

  • Awesome 68, first year of the fast back for the Chevelle's. Any one know what kind of rims are on there? very nice looking.

  • @RappnMc look like 69/70 ss wheels. but they are only 14inch. have a set for my 71 454 ss. love them but too small for my car.

  • god damn it, there's always someone mentioning honda. I go to see some car videos - my honda is better! I go to see some tractors stuck in mud videos - my honda could climb that mud!

    get over it!

  • my god, automotive porn right there.

Detroit Excellence. Back when Detroit made cars everyone loved and could afford.

  • Dude i have a 69 ss with a 489 m22 your car is beautiful sounds awesome. Fuck those jap shit boxes. chevy torque is a mans car

  • Whats up with all the plastic fart can comments on here?? Japanese suck get over it! Great Chevelle, one of my favourite musclecars!

  • Solid lifters own civics with their sound alone. ;D

  • Yeah a civic with a turbo and nitrous still doesnt compare to a chevelle with a 396 in it.

you cant beat the frame twisting torque of a Chevy V8.

    .

  • More than any Civic that might be left.

  • @MyMusclecar

HA! no civic can compete with this muscle not even a superior tuned civic. Civics are for losers that couldnt afford a better but still not great piece of crap rice burner.

  • @earlray156 That cars engine alone, and i'm being purely honest, is worth twice any civic. You can go out to any little car lot and buy a good running civic for under 7k right now. You couldn't buy a rotting frame for this car for that. And one more thing, your wonder what it'll be worth when you can't get gas for it, well last time i checked your civic most likely runs on gas too............

  • @earlray156 Can't get gas for it? What the hell does your honda run on?

  • @earlray156 If you can't get gas for the chevelle how can you get gas for the civic?..I think they run on the same type of gas, unless you have converted yours to propane or something.

  • @earlray156 civics are great daily drivers, and great for young drivers like myself. I'm probably get one in a month or 2 (an Si would be epic) but there is a time and place for every car a civic is great for younger people like i said before, but please don't compare you inadequate, "souped up", weed- whacker to a classic, timeless american muscle, like i said a time and place for everything don't compare there is no argument between those 2 cars

No hating please :) and remember i like Civics 2

  • @earlray156 Ooh I'm so scared of your FWD, grocery getting 1.4L I4 with a fart can on it!

  • @earlray156 I refuse to believe anyone thinks that highly of a fucking Honda Civic. I'll admit there are some import cars that are pretty cool... I love the older Nissan Z's and stuff like that, but the Civic was never meant to be a performance car. It's the definition of an "A to B" car.

And this car is awesome. Tell your friend he's a lucky sumbitch. lol

  • @irarawkstarr My grandma literally had a baby-shit brown 80s Civic lmao, you're totally right, idk where anyone ever pulled a wild rabbit out of their ass and said "this car is for racing!"

  • @earlray156 just saying that in 40 years, your civic will have rotted away while this Chevelle will still be going strong.

  • @earlray156 dumbass

  • Buick wheels?

  • Only thing I like is the color and the buick rims! Maybe fit my civic with some alterations! Civic turbo 12.72 et and get ready for the nitrous next week a full can of ass whoop to break the heartbeat in two!

  • Nice that you can break that heartbeat in two with a can of whoop ass, I can do better with a full stock Suzuki GSX-R 1000 10.41 et!!

  • Thanks for insulting the car. The value on this car will continue to increase. Let's see what that souped up Civic is worth in 40 years. By the way, if you knew anything you would know that the wheels are correct Chevelle SS wheels but they are for a 1969 model. Those same wheels were also used on Mustangs, Buicks, and Mopars. The company that made them sold them to different car Manufacturers. They are called Magnum 500.

  • @MyMusclecar Yea those bumb fuc** don't have a clue, is that a real 138 post ss car? Love my 71 ss chevelle & wouldn't trade it for a whole day's prouduction of those fart can rice burners.

  • I am not sure, as I said before it is a friend's car.

  • @72cruzin agree with that 110%

  • That is one sweet ride!!, I was referring to breaking that souped Civic in to two with a crotch rocket down the quarter mile!! LOL

  • @MyMusclecar in 40 yrs a civic will be worh LESS than a base chevelle was 40 yrs ago

  • @MyMusclecar The "spokes on magnum 500's for Olds, chevy and AMC were convex..Yours are concave and only Buick used that style. Those are most certainly Buick rims. Nice Chevelle, by the way.

  • @MyMusclecar let em hate potna i love the chevy

  • @earlray156 Lol fuck you an you're rice shit

  • @earlray156

ricers suck. American V8 muscle is where it's at.

  • @earlray156 Thats cute, I run mid 12s without forced induction or a bottle.

  • @earlray156 you could be running 9's. i can respect the work put in, but your still saddled with the worst drive layout known to man. fail wheel drive.

  • @earlray156 those are not buick rims dildo lipps

  • @earlray156 i wish i could understand how any human with a set of balls between their legs thinks a 4cyl engine sounds manly. For real tho. How do u think a b18 with no cat and str8 pipe sounds good? Who cares how fast it is, if every person on the street is laughin at you by the time vtec activates it aint worth nothin. Not to mention how juvenile "tuners" look. Nobody over 25 would look twice at a modded civic.

  • @earlray156 So with a turbo and nitrous your car still has Chevelle chin nuts.

  • @earlray156 hahahaha you need NOS. This beauty and all AMERICAN MUSCLE don't need NOS and can whip your ass with all motor,

  • @earlray156 this isn't a drag race video. stupid ricer.

  • @earlray156 lol you fucking faggot, a civic? Do you still live in your moms basement you virgin wowfag?

  • Is that a real 138 SS post window car? if so,, you have a rare s.o.b.! A standard 300 deluxe with the ss package. Sweeeeet sound, check the tail pipes for those sucked up foreign cars when you went around them. lol

  • Sweet music to any real car guys' ears.

  • as you can see the burnout marks behind his tiers on the ground lol

  • those tail lights are really bad ass bro

  • what does the 396 mean? sorry i'm new to this stuff

  • the size of the engine in cubic inches

  • Be nice. everyone has to learn somtime theres no reason to be mean.

  • A 396 is the engine commonly used in the 1960's in the SS version of GM cars. 396 refers to the cubic inches. It's equal to about 6.2 - 6.5 liters.

  • Cubic inches.

GM designed it for small block reving capabilities, but with big block torque.

But at that note, I'd go with a 400 small block.

But the 396's are pretty nasty!

  • 396 is the cubic inches of the motor this is a pretty good size my dads got a 68 cutlass witha 350 rocket 2 speed 350s are standerd motors in like trucks today

  • 396 cubic inches... 1 liter = 61.02 cubic inches. 396/61.02 = roughly 6.5 liter engine

  • God... that Sound is just awesome.

Way better than what all those Japanese Plasticbombers are putting out these days ;)

  • its beautiful

  • soundz amazing!!!!!

im workin on finding a classic car that needs to be built

  • wow has that stock look

  • beautiful music there

  • LONG LIVE GM

  • that cam has a nice lumps to it

  • I've heard boats out of water that dont sound that fuckin mean.

  • AWESOME CAR

  • By the way nice car

  • my 06 mustang will lose in a race with this car

  • duh :P hahah

  • I'd lose on purpose.

  • du suger

  • What kind of exhaust are you using?

  • That is Flowmaster American Thunder.

  • With the Super 40's or 44's?

  • One word: BEAST!

  • naww it's BEASTLY!

  • that thing is clean!!

  • NICE!!!! I want it!!!!

  • yea your stang doesnt sound like that lol

  • doubt it, sorry.

  • Yes it does

  • haha if you think your mustang sounds meaner then you prolly need to change your tampon. this car has go not just show like your shittrotter

  • im gonna call b.s.

  • Then you must have taken that 4.6 out and put a motor in that can actually perform.

  • Very nice. Sounds strong. Good job on it,,,,

  • I have the same model car! It's in 1:24 scale size.

  • sweet, now you can start to work your way up for the real thing (not being a jerk)

  • nice car

  • dude, because of this vid i remember, once at a car parade i recorded some cars idling. 32 fords, and stuff like that , euro stuff. those cars were strong , dude.

    gotta post later.

  • my uncle just bought one of these a couple months ago it has a 700+ hp 454 built to about 502 cubic inches(or something like that) with a 3 speed automatic and chevy rally wheels

  • I heard a lot of Super Sports in my day but this is the one! "That Bitch is ready for business baby"...:-)

  • sexy ass beast!!!! =D

  • sexy chevy

  • i see uve spun the wheel in the drive way by the look of those marks :D

  • my friend is only 15, and his parents just bought him a perfectly restored, zero bondo, no rust, crate motor, 68 el camino. Same color as your chevell, I'm so fucking in love with his car O.O

  • cammy?

  • Lol plumbicblimp. Agreed. 5/5

  • In the late '60's(God, I wish I could go back there) our family had a '68 Chaevy Caprice with a 325hp 396. I was a sophomore in h.s. and so proud to drive that car. It was dark blue with a lt. blue interior and, for a big car, fast as hell. We as teenagers, drove that car as fast as any street hot rod in those years with pride. In our small town, nothing could beat it in the 1/4 mile! Latr came the Z-28's and the like. There was just no muscle to challenge this car.

  • Good Story! Gotta love the lines on a 68 big car!

  • Weren't those the days?

    :)
