  • damn that's some thick tone!

  • 50 watts? thats nothing. my mg head has 100 watts!!

  • @HBK1337 Yeah, but this one is a tube amplifier and the mg is solid state. When a tube amplifier is distorted, it goes well above the wattage it says it has. This 50 watt marshall will be louder than your mg;) It'll sound a whole lot better as well on such a high volume..

  • @HBK1337 you are stupid.

  • @mrconz2010 I suspect he's trolling. I'm pretty sure everything anybody with "1337" in his name has ever said was trolling.

  • @HBK1337 but MG's are shit compaired to this?

  • So what if his low E is off, listen to the fricken amp! Not everyone is a rock star and some people just want to share their sound. So with that said, did anyone notice the switch set up? This amp has the three toggles, one is a polarity switch. Mine has the same thing. This is a great thing to have when on stage. If you get lit up when touching your mic or anything else, the easiest thing to do is flip the polarity. Same with ground buzzing, it can get rid of that too. Screw the 3 prong!!

  • @grindinglicks Um... yeah. You should get that amp grounded...

  • It's def out of tune at 0:47

  • @odgeUK your out of tune.

  • @odgeUK it's DETUNED and not out of tune. It's quite different

  • volume settings?

  • @andy92811 sounds cranked. that or he has a great pedal

  • Tune that Jr. Sheesh.

  • it's in tune

  • @x96xum From 0:47 on there is no way that is in tune. Sorry. I've been playing for 31 years. I know out of tune.

  • i really don't hear it. maybe a tad out at the bridge but remember with the wraparound bridge, intonation is ballparked at best

  • That is probably true. I've never used one.

  • Friend of mine has an all-original 1957 Jr. that sounds pretty much the same. Intonation is a bugger, but I don't play it much, it was appraised for $11K, too worried I'd drop it

  • I heard how out of tune that was too

  • That Junior sounds sweet!

  • I have a 50 watt jmp plexi clone and It has a terribly fizzy sound. To get rid of it I keep the treble presence and middle all on 0, which leaves me with very little versatility. I am running this through a cabinet that has 2 vox "Wharfdale" ceramic speakers, and think that they might be the culprit. Do you experience fizzyness with the Celestion speakers?

  • yeah mate, try some Celestions!!! 99% of marshall's you'll hear will be via celestion speakers, or clones of'em...for this guys tone you'll need the 70th anniversary G12H 30 watter, the best spkr Celestion make at the moment, they sparkle!!! they'll sweeten that harsh treble....

  • i have a mint 77 jmp nmv and went thru three 77 cabs with G12m25s the thiord cab was a charm. it had pro 1000 monster wire in it thick and was wired parallel. super wet and juicy unlike a lot of cutting of some marshalls its all in the eq ing ofyour amp. i use a marshall shredmaster all eq unity and a marshall bluesbreaker again unity 6 and 7 around for gain and volume thats it not all cabare the same

  • a friend of mine has the same problem with his reissue 50w plexi and the 4x12 with greenbecks too, my orginal '69 plexi 50w doesn't have that problem, the circuit is almost the same, we put the same valves on both and set same bias to match them.......I think the difference is with output tranny

  • Who makes that speaker cabinet? I really like it.

  • it sounds so awsome iets not even funny

  • its not the guitar player the guitar or the amp. its all in the fingers. and you got fingers.

  • It's all those things and more.

  • my grampa's cousin is Marshall

  • dude that sounded great. if you combine a good guitar, a good ol' marshall amp, and someone who knows how to play like you can you can't loose. keep it up it sounds amazing

  • what do you think about the new supro amps? I know of a 1 x12 being sold for 550 no tax,

do u think thats a good deal?

  • That depends on whether or not you like it. No one can answer that except you.

  • How do you afford your gear?

  • WORK! :D

  • What's your job? If you can get this much gear I might look in to it! lol

  • It's gonna take some time, nut just do some jobs around town. Also, BUY USED! Much cheaper. If you really want something, you will get it, if you work for it. Deliver the paper, work at a camp, mow lawns. There's a million things. BE ASSERTIVE! :D It will all work out for you. I know it.

  • If They Sound So Fucking Fuckt Up, Why Do Allmoust Evrione yuse Them?

    Your Mon ;D

  • I want that amp! and that guitar! I dont think a paper route can cover all of this lol

  • Great amp! What were your settings?

  • Sorry, I should have noted them. I will next time.

  • i love the crunch of the p90's

  • that vintage tone sounds fucking tasty

  • Great playing Ron, sounds sick.. I assume that you have the amp past 7 to get that breakup?

  • Nice! This was fun. All the guitars sound killer. I'm really impressed with how well my Historic reissues keep up with your vintage Juniors. Your '57 Junior is so thick and mean sounding.
