Some of us can't afford a second set of console+TV so we like split screen, it allows us to enjoy the video game simultaneously. I agree with you, split screen sucks but for some of us it's better than having my buddies just watching how I'm getting killed, better to share the screen and share the beating ;)

So that's the only reason to want split screen. As soon as I can afford a second set of console+TV I'll get it. It's just better to have all the N inches you paid for only for you.

sonic:run very fast with overpowered shotgun's and the ballistic knife with very low health.

spec ops:medium class with good loadout and great perks.

ghost:invisible on the map and can take out aircraft also extremely great commando gun.

DEATH:overpowering class but very slow and will make you a big target on the map.

scoper:amazing sniper class able to easily get your killstreaks faster and great perks.

Call of Duty Black Ops IS MAINLY a multiplayer game. That is what it is designed for, i can't even imagine somebody getting this game without xbox live. If you play alone or with a friend IRL without live or PSL then get a RPG like Fallout or Oblivion.

Splt Screen online is a great edition to the COD series. For me its about being able to play online with your mates in the same room instead of swapping the controller back and forth and taking turns. Growing up I spent most days playing time splitter or 007 Goden eye with my siblings and I remember those days fondly. i suppose thats why I enjoy having a laugh and plaing multiplayer with friends or family.
