The trouble with placing signals on TS2012, there is no decent tutorials in how to do it correctly.
The Railworks Wiki is as good as- nothing, regarding signal 'wiring' in your Railworks route. There are so many different types of signals in Railworks, we just don't know which one is correct for certain track layout plans. What section goes where? Different 'beam arrows' for different lines. What and where?
damn, is it because of me or is it just the game... signals I place just dont get green, even if the damn path is cleared! Only USA signals work properly. Im using railworks v114.0b, should I get some sort of patch to fix this? Im getting really annoyed..
I know, the worst part is probably making the entrances/exits to large stations, and signaling the routes you make. Then its probably setting up gradients on the route.

How do you make an engine move by it self without you controling it?
THAMESLINK319 2 years ago
You have to create a scenario. I'll do a video on that later.

Ok thanks M8 :)

once you have build the track and put a train engine on track how do you play it?
billythomas18 2 years ago
You have to put a driver icon on the train you want to drive when your in the scenario/train editing mode.
The icon is a head in the top left panel and looks like a head. Click on the icon then click on the trains engine.
Then save and drive your train by clicking on it.
