Ian Anderson is god. I still listen to the early albums like Stand Up and Benefit and love his fllute playing. My favourite albums are Stand Up and Thick as a Brick. I got into these when i was just 14.

@Henrietta20 Sounds like post hoc rationalization to me. Prog was about trying new ways to say things. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. A lot of the failure does sound sterile, but that is one thing you could never say about Ian Anderson and Tull. BTW, this is an arrangement of a JS Bach piece, so it is not meant to sound like rock.
