last week, prompting a major investigation. President George W. Bush was notified of the incident.

You are correct. Pakistani citizens used Pakistanis soil to organize the Mumbai attacks.
Therefore:
1) It exposes Zaid Hamid as a liar as he said it was an Indian propaganda.
2) Pakistan government needs to ensure that organizations like LeT and others are properly investigated and their operators like Saeed Hafeez, Zaki Lakhvi are put behind bars.
Is that asking for too much? Every country has internal problems but they need to make sure they don't export terrorism to others.

If Pakistan still thinks they were right about India's involvement in Bangladesh, well, they then did a poor job of furnishing the evidence against India.
Pakistan has been doing cross border terrorism in Kashmir for decades now. US and UN didn't start supporting Indian claims till India started producing the evidences.

India has not wholeheartedly acknowledged and accepted Pakistan as a legitimate country and it has tried every thing to break it up. The way partition was done contributed to the break up of east and west Pakistan.
India just took advantage of the situation in Bangladesh, they did not care about Bengali people, they were too scared to loose their own west Bengal.

Pakistan nuclear arsenal is safe. But if Brits and US wants Pakistan nuclear arms to be really really safe and not be unsecure and I mean really safe then they should give Pakistan govt. monetary help in billions of dollars and easy access to visas to go to US and Britain for common Pakistanis. Also Pakistan will need their Drone technology to keep a closer eye on the nuclear sites. Right now because of clouds it is very difficult to watch them closely.
