  • A trick that I learned on I-5 coming back from Sacramento is to do what I call the "split the cheeks" method. What you do is split your butt cheeks on one side of your seat, the side that the wind is blow on. This puts more weight on that side when turning into the wind and helps with control. Another is small careful zig-zags.

  • I was riding yesterday and the wind was pushing me over in the curves, so I had to slow down to 50 just to be able to handle the bike...and the kept opening and closing my visor....it sucked!
