  • my hubby was a drill sgt in 2007 at A co 2-10 ...this is cool to watch brings back memories

  • wow i see DS Smith is still there

  • Combat MOS are always all male basic or OSUT. OSUT is one station unit which sucks cause AIT and BASIC are put together and no priviledge whatsoever

  • Do we have to do water survival? Please answer this. Thanks. I leave on April 26th for Fort Leonard Wood.

  • Is that really how we do a push up? You know who you are...

  • Damn I never tried to climb a rope in my life, thats gunna be hard

  • haha-This was my unit it started as A-3-3 and changed to A-2-10 3/4's the way through~ Gaduated 07-87 then went to Benning for Jump School, Glad to see they are still rockin it!

  • Cool but I had real Basic Training and Jump School at Ft Benning. Its ok not everybody has the heart to be in the Infantry.

  • @2012Norris It doesn't take heart scrub, just some people want to actually get a job when they get out of the military. Like me, im a 68W, when i get out i get free schooling, and i get my masters. Lets see you do something with your MOS.

  • @TheScene8252 Its cool man I know its hard to handle the truth. Some of us join to actually fight for our country. Im a Mechanic in the civilian world. Wont have any trouble getting a job when im done.

  • @2012Norris M.Ps A.I.T is 9 more week of D.S and get pass only on sunday. depends on your unit or company but our 1sgt took away pass like candy. i probly only had four passes but one was on fourth of fuly weekend. no drinking or any where they sell beer etc. no off post passes or overnighter ethier. M.Ps lead the army values and inforce them with the UCMJ. and my real basic was in FLW hooah get some integrity and repect.

  • @2012Norris You know it's funny. I went through Ft. Leonard Wood. Then off to Benning for Jump school. After I left the Army. A new female co-worker came to my job. Sadly. Her son died in Iraq. But one thing that got to me was. She said, he did basic and Leonard Wood. But said her son was infantry. I wanted to question that. But thought it would be disrespectful. It always bothered me though. Since 11B do basic and infantry together. Or has it changed?

  • @jpd782 11b is infantry man, and all do it at ft benning

  • @jpd782

my son is at fort leonard wood now, I have so many questions and am afraid to ask. any information would be wonderfully appreciated.

  • @angelaazcona Not sure how much I can help. I graduated in 1993. There are so many changes since I was there. Example. When I went it was all Male. Now it's co-ed. From the looks of these videos it looks way more advanced with the training and equipment. We were still using Vietnam Era training. Fort Leonard Wood has a website where maybe they can give more up to date information. But you can send me an private youtube E-mail with any question. I might be able to answer some.

  • @jpd782 Depends on where you go, Ft. Sill is still all male both BCT and AIT with the exception of the meteorologist MOS. I think that Benning is still all male too.

  • That's where I did basic

  • haha summer camp for the POGS

  • i dont remember any chicks in our company when i was here in 92 - wtf

  • @sunzobitchez I hear ya. I was A-2-10 in summer of 1993. We had all male companies. In fact we did not see any woman anywhere for over a month. Then. after about week 5. About 3 other companies came in with all female platoon's Times sure have changed.

  • @jpd782 Well, you and I were in the same company at the same time. :-)

  • this is awesome!! this was my company. i was in A 2-10, graduated 6-30-2006. so i gotta be somewhere in this video.

  • every body says how hard their basic was and says how easy others were. I had it easy at leonard wood as people say. I want to know what company had it easy cause alpha 2/10 damn sure didnt. It was managable, but not "easy" Ait was easy and i damn sure aint complaining.

  • worldtravler75. you just a little bitch. end of story. who gives a fuck they had to do and what they didn't do

  • This new army of one shit makes me want to vomit , you guys dont have to polish boots or iron uniforms , Straight lazy .. So dont think you had it tough at knoxs beacuse it never was shit , and it still anit shit today ,

  • I graduated from BCT ( A-2-10) Fort Lost in the Woods Misery , 2 Aug 1995 ... Seeing the course and the barracks sure did bring back memories . Thanks for posting it michydn, and to libtechrider2010 ,, You think Knox is so tough ? I went to BCT when the drill sgt's could cold cock your ass , for looking at them sideways..

  • I was alpha 2/10 in 2009. alpha 2/10 seemed to be the only company with hard ass drills. I loved it tho.

  • bct at fort leonardwood iss a fucking joke, went to knox....did ait at leonardwood...it pissed me off how easy those kids had it.

  • My dad is a 1sgt for the BCT at Leonardwood and it's weak cause ive seen the videos and my dads an infantry man and he said basic training there is a joke compared to bennings.. Thank God im going to Benning in 20 days. 11B baby HOOAH

  • do men and women train together at fort leonard wood?

  • @aabayside91 yes

  • Yes, men and women train together. I went back in '05 before they implemented the low stress/no stress crap (thanks a LOT Col. Daly, ruined the rep of FLW), it was a LOT harder back then, and was considered to be neck and neck with Ft. Benninng in training. Now it's ruined and they make sissy, and actually have people saying "'please", and the DS can't do squat to correct them. It's stupid, there are no good places for females to go train any more.

  • yes

  • i just got done with basic and i went through those exact same courses and those are all of the "major" events throughout the entire 9 weeks and they each take 1 day to do. the real stuff they didn't put on here like BRM and US Weapons or HMMWV dismounting ;) theres alot more too it

  • oh alpha. Man do i miss Ft Leonard Wood. A2/10 leads the way!!!

  • Anyone else headed out here on December 28th for 21b OSUT?

  • What year was this ? When I went through there, we had a ton of fun during the night , being coed and all !

  • are you fuckin seriouS? did basic training turn into summer camp? fuckin pogs......

  • not if you go combat arms it isnt

21 bravo soon to be jan 20th 2010

  • This is one of my favorites b/c the first thing they tell you when they give you a video like this is..."Don't post it on myspace, youtube, etc." Why?

cause you make yourself look bad

  • In the air force basic camp, we had a pool of water we were supposed to swing across.

When I came along the rope was not swinging so I jumped to grab it and fell into the water. hahaha. I can't even recall if I swallowed any of that dirty water.

    sucks, too late to sue.

  • ahhhh the 43th...good days

  • looks like they got to you ahahahahahaha! the 43th?????? 43rd buddy! AHAAHAHAHHAHAHA! You suck at typing. HOOAH!

  • Echo 2/10 INF, Summer `06. Don't miss it, but the complaints about it being watered down are dead on.

  • A 2-10, Got to Leonard Wood Sept '07 and graduated Dec 7th, 2007.

  • there last year july 31 till january this year 62 b

  • This brings back so many memories. I was there sept of 05 and graduated in december.

  • I go to Fort Leonard Wood July 2nd. Then stay there for AIT. 21E Hooah!

  • 20 July, 21 Bravo..See you there, Hooah.

  • good luck bro!

  • Great vid, I was there in 89' D35-132, when did they start co-ed?

  • a-2-10 july 07 - sept -07

  • I took all theses pictures i was the supply tech for A 2/10

  • Why do I see woman and men together?

    Is this fucking co-ed?

    I'm in shock.

  • There are only two forts in the entire army who allow girls in basic training so yeah, its going to be co-ed,

  • the army has been co-ed for sometime before you even posted this shit...i went through b.c.t in the summer of '06 and guess what? there was females there....who cares if it's co-ed,basic is soft now anyways...the word stress card says everything as if it wasn't enough that a d.s. can't put hands on you now that pisses me off so much...basic is so watered down and ppl still cry about it

  • I don't think we should have stress cards, that fucking bullshit. However, I don't think a DS should be able to touch you. It sucks when a fucking DS won't stop slapping you on the head.

  • dont the engineers clear the way?

  • @jamesdean890789 YOU RIGHT HOMEBOY WE DO CLEAR THE WAY RCP XXX BEST RCP IN COUNTRY COMBAT ENGINEER IS THE WAY TO GO

  • @jamesdean890789 hell yea we do, hooah

  • I was in A-2-10 1st platoon from july 04 to sept 04... Pvt Pereira

  • ALPHA 2 10 woot woot! gators lead the way.. oct o7- dec 07

  • fort lost-in-the-woods

  • ok thanks for putting me in my place

  • A-2-10 may-july 1999...OUTLAWS

  • The first day I was at Ft Leonardwood for basic training we had 3 and half hours of shake down in a hot gym ..that was some tortured

  • MP'S lead the way HOOAH!! Although we had all UGLY females in our company stnewton09

  • haha MP's lead the way? when did this start happening?

engineers shoot to kill, drive on hooah

  • engineers hahaha yeah okay your 14 weeks of osut dont make me laugh...MP 20 weeks thats why we lead the way Hooah

  • hooah

  • bet you guys blow alot of shit up too right?

  • so if MP's lead the way, how come our scouts and infantry had to babysit you guys and division would not allow MP's to do anything involving CQM cordons, HVT TST's, and the most you will see them do is FOB security and Babysitting iraqi Police.... Give me a break guy... Your nothing to brag about.. You guys cant even get your Comms straight. I had to teach an E7 how to fill a radio... And i wish you MP's would stop calling yourselves combat arms... because your really not... Thanks.

  • Army leads the way hooah

  • I was at Ft. Lost in the Wood for Navy training and tha place sucked sooo bad. I give kudos to those Army recruits I saw over there and I wish them well.

  • I don't know. I did basic at Leonard Wood. Then came back sometime later when I re-classes to 88M. (Motor Transport Operator)Which was co-ed AIT. But this was all in 1993-1994.

  • This was my basic training company. Summer of 1993. This was before co-ed basic. We bad an all male company.

  • OSUT still is all-male, except for NBC Specialists and MPs.

  • i leave for leonardwood september 3rd ...woott

  • My Grandpa was A DI Here any1 know DI Alcorta

  • I see they integrated Water Survival in BCT now. Do they make all the recruits go through that training?

  • I was in A-210. My Drill Sgts where Drill SGT. Pipkin, Drill Sgt. Blake, Drill Sgt. Rutledge, Drill Sgt. Ramey, Drill Sgt. Robling and Drill Sgt. Garret. It was 21May2002. I miss it and would like to go back in I was a 88M.(Heavy Wheeled Vehicle Operator)

  • @someoneknows28 I remeber Sgt Pipkin, Sgt Garret, and I believe Blake was the one that liked to call us clowns and we got in trouble for making fun of him. We graduated August 11 2002. Sorry for the rambling I just think its cool I was in the class after you.

  • I was in C-3-10 back in 1990 DS Westbrook and his "finger of death"

  • I was in Delta 2-10 in 1996 and Alpha 2-10 is right close to us. I will never forget First Sergeant Nigrette. I was a holdover for 5 months because of my injuries but when everybody else want to send me home. First Segeant Nigrette never gave up on me. He trained me personaly to get back and finish my training. Without him I will never be a proud member of the US Army.

  • i was in B-310 in Nov. of 06

  • I was in A 2-10 2nd Platoon from Jan 06-Mar 06 but I didnt leave until May 06 I was a Med Hold. DS Jones, DS McNurlen, and DS Mitchell, they rocked...I wouldn't have made it without them pushing me to make it the way they did. I loved it!! I would go back in a heartbeat!

  • I was in the class previous to yours. I remember marching a group of soldiers from your class back to the barracks from buddhist services.( I was in AIt at the time.) they looked all lost and scared (it was funny as hell) On the way back the entire group got smoked by DS Slaughter. At the time I could barley contain my laughter and the group I was with looked at me like I was nuts. good times :D

  • d.s. slaughter kinda acts like a bitch about everything....i'm so glad i wasn't in his platoon...i went through in the summer of '06 and he was in charge of 1st. platoon and i was in 2nd with d.s. mitchell...d.s. saint juste acts like a dick too, like way too much....

  • I was in a-2-10 as well...DS Tolliver was our main..and she was loud. lol Those were some good times tho!

  • Tolliver! Yes! I was 4th Platoon, I graduated in September of 07. DS's Carrington, Smith, and HEFFERN. We had a rough time...it was fun!

  • Alpha 2-10! HOOAH! I was in A-2-10 through from November, 1994 to January, 1995! Sgt. Berry and Sgt. Payne were my main Drill Sergeants, though there were others. Other than the usual Basic Training Bullshit, I actually enjoyed myself. The best time was a Saturday night, mission for the day completed, finished eating chow, marching to the Barracks in perfect cadence. I really liked the Army life then. Of course, that was near the end of Basic, when the DS's weren't such big assholes.

  • I remember A company.. they used to scream ALPHAAAAA GAAATORS!! I was C-2-10 back in 98.

  • A 2-10 4th Platoon, Arrived April of '04 DS's Elliston, Robling, and Brown Capt. Cruz Commanding.

DS Elliston was a Ranger and Sniper, I read where he'd been commended by Congress for the outstanding job he did in Kosovo. Really was impressed with the cadre at basic. Good stuff.
