@rohamrahimi The "Dempsey Roll" is about putting all your body weight into your punches. probably can't see it well because of "bad" quality but you can DEFINITLY hear the hard punches through out the room.

@MrTrueMan101 Neutral Corner didn't exist back then boxing was much more dangerous and actually when they created the new rule Jack didn't know about it and when he knocked someone down and didn't go to the corner the referee would not start the count till he did. In the end it took the dude 20 sec to get up and then beat Jack thus losing his belt on a technicality

ok the rule of boxing before was not yet complete... look at him when he knocked down his opponent he should went to the neutral corner.. but what he do was he stayed behind his enemy and keep on punching even the enemy was not yet ready to fight..
dempsey was the first heavyweight to show u could throw punches in bunches and have an awsome work rate. surprisingly even the papers of the time picked up how good his technique was of getting good leverage in his punches, today many just regard him as pure savagery n over look his skill

In that era,boxing was so stupid,the guy could have been killed and still the referee would not have stopped the fight.I hate the way DEMPSEY punch WILLARD in his back which is totally unsportship.Luckily,the rules have been improved since then.

ok the rule of boxing before was not yet complete... look at him when he knocked down his opponent he should went to the neutral corner.. but what he do was he stayed behind his enemy and keep on punching even the enemy was not yet ready to fight..

dempsey was the first heavyweight to show u could throw punches in bunches and have an awsome work rate. surprisingly even the papers of the time picked up how good his technique was of getting good leverage in his punches, today many just regard him as pure savagery n over look his skill
