Is anyone on that can tell me how to get these videos to play? I have never had this problem before.

Sorry, but I don't have that problem and am not a techie. However, I do know that YouTube videos are stored and play in a Flash format. So maybe you need to fix or upgrade your PC's Flash player? You can find it in Control Panel + Add/Remove Programs. Sorry, this is maxing the extent of my knowledge, but I hope this helps.
