In my opinion, one of the most evil games ever made. The atmosphere was so dark and demonic. Definitely a must play game if you have or have had a PS2. Was hoping the new Twisted Metal would have this same atmosphere, but it doesn't look like it does unfortunately

I fucking loved this game. Not so much for the gameplay as for the atmosphere and stories of the characters. For a 2001 PS2 game, it was utterly stunning graphically as well. That's why I kinda hated that the stories were so short and told in a mere three clips at most. This music is one of the best video game pieces I ever heard for its creepy vibe and sound of a mind slipping into insanity helplessly. Truly gripping. I would love to see a game based on all these characters with broader stories

Die hard Twisted Metal fan since forever. And when this game came out, man, I felt like I was transported to another fucking dimension. it was FUCKING TWISTED. And the menu theme just oozed FUCKING MENTAL. My mind just CRACKED. It truly put the twisted in twisted metal. I loved every fucking second. Yes, even getting my ass handed to me by Minion countless times. Fucking awesome way to kickstart the ps2. Here's hoping the ps3 version kicks just as much ass, and hell, it certainly is lookin good

Jaffe is a f'n genuis, the new version is badass and looks insanely fun!! Hes kept one element us TM fans wanted, Split screen play. TM is underrated despite being the longest running ps franchise!

Split screen is a must, and when I saw it had it, you're damn skippy I geeked out, lol. Split screen needs to make a combat, nothing beats kicking a friend or family member's ass in the same room. Even Uncharted3's gonna have split screen. Can't wait for that, either.. this year's gonna be wild.

Anyone who says 3 or 4 are the best TM ever are not TRUE TM fans, being as neither was made by the original makers and are probly the 2 worst TM's ever made. TM2 World Tour is the one that got played the most by my friends and me back in the day, followed by Black and then TM1. Nothing beats rooftops in TM2, maybe the most fun map ever.

I love this game. Amazing how Incognito Entertainment took Twisted Metal's silly cartoonish type nature and successfully turned it into a horror type genre video game.
