  • i love the bass from logitech but my logitech z 623 is blowing by a bass test

  • Logitech woofer are the fucking shit of the world !! My woofer is blowing -.- i have the z623 1day & i play 20HZ an i say " oo good " And than is this with 10SEK BLOWING -.-

  • @Fa3eOff head to logitech.com and click the Support button at the top of the page and our team will help you out in no time.

  • @logitechausnz Ok thank's (:

  • i have these speakers, they are worth buying if you are looking for something in this price range

  • The bass is really good but my right speakers refuse to work at all and it ends up being really bad sound only hearing things from the left side of you any solutions?

  • @halonut619 give our support team a call (if in Australia 1800 025 544) or head to logitech.com and click the Support button

  • Already got these speakers with the 50 mtrs of cables making a fucking mess!!!

  • @Zoink888 thanks for your feedback, there are some wonderful cable management solutions available from places like Big W, IKEA and other retailers that can help you clean that up. We truly wish the day comes where we have no cables anywhere hey?

  • Can you connect multiple bass speakers to logitech z506

  • @MichaelFrymus no sorry you can't

  • @logitechausnz

    Boo! :( lol thanks.

I assume that adding more speakers is the same thing... damn.

  • @MichaelFrymus yeah sorry, unless maybe you use splitter adaptors but we aren't sure how that would work really or how good it would be.

  • @logitechausnz I just ordered these speakers so hopefully they will be here within 3 days, usually 1 day delivery from where I buy stuff so we'll see. I bought these because the X-530 subwoofer wouldn't really fit anywhere because of the thing on the left side and the black Z523's was out of stock, only white ones left. Anyhow these look amazing and now most of my electronics are logitech! :)

  • @CrazyAngelDude I have bought z506 and z523 :) i think the bass of z523 is better than z506, the z523 fill my room better! :P but logitech z506 is very good too! :D

  • how do you connect these speaker to the tv? not ps3

just putting in the 3.5mm jack in the tv?

  • @tom117208 yep either 3.5mm jack if your TV has one or the RCA connectors which most TV's have as well.

  • Who needs these wen u can get the g35 headset!

  • @eSkiip hey why not have both, G35 for personal listening, Z506's for when you have the house to yourself and you can crank up the volume!

  • If you connect both your PC and console, how do you switch between the two?

  • @CdrRogue the Z506 System will work it out depending on the signal it is receiving.

  • can it connect to mac?

  • @FilmlandFilms yeah it basically connects to anything that has 3.5mm or RCA connections so TV, Stereo, Amp, Computer, Games Console, DVD Player, MP3 Player - the list goes on so they can be quite versatile

  • Comment removed

  • no wall mount.... :(

  • can you conect them with a laptop??

  • @89paok sure can, they plug in using 3.5mm or RCA

  • I tried for 4 hours today to get mine connected but I still think it needs extra cables.

  • @Leowen2 sorry to hear that, although it should only take about 5 minutes. Ensure you follow the instructions in the box but essentially there is one cable that goes to the source device, then one each to the 5 surround speakers, then power from the sub woofer. If you are still having problems head to logitech.com and at the top of the page click the Support button to get further assistance

  • just got this last week. im using it for my ps2 & ps3 you still nerd a optical to 3.5mm to have suround sound.

  • very cool, this is what i'm asking for chirstmas.

  • @mikedelgado8888 same

  • Comment removed

  • @Leowen2 there aren't any other cables etc, what comes with it will allow you to use the Z506 on computers, game consoles, TV's etc. What country did you call Support from?

  • @logitechausnz Green cable, back of sub - Computer speaker input

Each speaker has it's one colour co-ordination so that you know where to plug it in, in the back of the sub. that's all. The black and yellow cables are only used for the TV. That's how I set mine up. If there is anything you need to know then just let me know.

  • Comment removed

  • Why is the speaker thing at the downside of the subwoofer? Will this make sound better or screw it up?

Also I want to know if I can play some heavy dubstep with this?

  • @9Lucario9 our Product Teams have designed the Z506's using the 30 years of experience we have making our products & technology. All the elements of the design are aimed at producing the best possible sound we can for that particular product. So it will give you great sound no matter what sort of music you are playing.

  • @9Lucario9 Look for "Downfire Subwoofer", Downfire has a greater bass as a Frontfire in the same frame size

  • @9Lucario9 Dubstep sounds pretty good on them but not epic, you need some think with an amp!!

  • how about the Hercules XPS 5.1 70 Slim?

  • @NotOnlyAVoice how do you mean?

  • how many wires get out from it to connect with pc?

  • @MrDark1000 there are 3, but it adapts to suit your needs.

  • @helipro555 we don't tolerate swearing so your post will be removed. Please contact our Support Team by heading to logitech.com and clicking the Support button at the top of the screen and they will help you out to get your problem sorted.

  • Is there a multiplug system for my laptop as i only have one mpc port?

  • @JackPerrottDrumming yeah the Z506 is designed to work with various devices using single or multiplug situations and/or 3.5mm/RCA

  • do they work on a mac?

  • @a7mm8BXe sure can, basically anything with 3.5mm or RCA connections

  • @logitechausnz Ok thank you. And also thank you for replying so quick!

  • @a7mm8BXe Yes

  • how come there are 3 headphone pins instead of just 1?

  • @Suprastar77 that's for front/centre/rear sound output, but what you actually use depends on what you are plugging it into.

  • @logitechausnz i only have one port in my MP3 player and i want all the sound to work. is there like a multiplug system where i can plug all three into one plug then another plug is on the other end which i plug into my MP3 player so all the sound works or wat?????

  • all bass and high end, no warm midrange.

  • i got this one its awesome nice computer sounds Logitech you rule buddy !!

  • I can't get mine to work $85 dollars

  • @Leowen2 Please contact our Support Team via logitech.com via phone/ email so they can log and assist with this issue.

  • @logitechausnz , Thanks I'd given up on it and put it away forever. I shall contact them and see what I'm doing wrong.

  • how much $ is this ?

  • @atalaycelebi goto msy (.) com (.) au and the price is $79

  • FFS Logitech, hurry up and bring a wireless volume control and put the god damn bass ajustment on the front of the sub... im sick of having to get off my ass and pull the whole fucking thing out wen I want to listen to music or watch a movie to turn the volume or bass up or down...

  • @elnogga your speaking like this thing i even worth buying lol

  • ive got there the sub was booming all thro the vid! there awesome everyone should have these!

  • ive got it its good as

  • THIS IS AWESOME.. not bad for gaming

  • @V1olentGoddess yep sure is! Plus videos, movies, pumping music...awesome for lots of stuff!

  • why do my z506 have a strange "buuurrrrrrrrrrrrr" sound in the center speakers? Pretty weird is that when i pull the center speaker cable out of the subwoofer it still "buuuurrrrrrr"?! What can i do to fix that?

  • @macaronixx head to logitech.com and click the Support button at the top of the web page, it will direct you to your local Support Team to get help with that.

  • @logitechausnz i did that and i got no help in return. They just said "You need to change the soundsystem" so i guess i have to do that.. Doing that first thing tomorrow!

  • @macaronixx ok, well that's ok because we do have a Replacement Warranty on our products, that's how confident we are in them as they normally work for years. Let us know if you have any dramas getting them changed over.

  • do you need a sound card to experience 5.1? my rear speakers buzz and they have a comparatively very low sound

  • @tangypasta they work from a sound card, the 3.5mm connections on a laptop, iPod, iPhone etc and/or the RCA connections on things like TV, DVD Player etc.

  • its cheaper at computer alliance :)

  • @DimSimCard ok interesting

  • @logitechausnz im orny too !

  • the horizontal speaker kinda reminds me of wall-e.. especially at 0:50

  • thanks dick :)

  • Just wondering, we recently picked up a Xonar HDAV Slim, can we use a SP Dif to connect to said card?

  • @LucyLooTV hey all the specs & connection details are on logitech.com

  • @LucyLooTV head to logitech.com and you'll be able to see all the specifications on the Z506 including the connections it has

  • how much watts is the sub woofer . I am only asking for the subwoofer's power. My current edifier's subwoofer is like 20 watts and it does not have that punch effect to it!! i might buy z506 if the woofer is good enough.

  • @33ehsan all the specifications are on logitech.com

  • @logitechausnz it does not say the subwoofer watts....

  • @33ehsan it does in the Specifications Tab and remember great sound is not all just about Watts.

Total RMS power 75 watts RMS

    Satellites: 48 watts RMS (2 x 8 W front, 16 W center, 2 x 8 W rear)

    Subwoofer: 27 watts RMS

    Total peak power: 150 watts

    Frequency response: 45 Hz–20 kHz

  • @logitechausnz i want a subwoofer of about 75-100 watts....i am only talking about the subwoofer watts......Do you have something that big?

  • @33ehsan have a look at the Z623 or Z906 speaker systems. The Z506 has 75 watts RMS.

  • Wow guys I can connect my Wii-Wii to this. Thats Godly.

  • @PhobiaEditing yes you can connect all kinds of things like games consoles, DVD Players, VCR's, TV's etc

  • @1989wyll I agree with Logitechausnz. You need to make sure you have a 5.1 Surround sound card if you want to get the best out of these speakers. I've now have them for 4 months, and I'll never go back to stereo sound if I can help it. I even connect them to my TV if we watch a movie!!

  • i had these. picked up a lot of random static sounding noises. supposedly too many appliances using same outputs. so i tried these speakers in other room around the house...same sound (a quiet buzzing, and in my room which is always quiet made it loud.) so we replaced them with a new set....same noise. did the same things to make it go away. nothing worked. so i just got other Logitech speakers. but im really annoyed, what was going on? and what could of i done to fix it?

  • @SPIKEZshuffle that sounds quite stange. Best thing to do is chat to our Support team. Just head to logitech.com and click the Support button at the top of the page.

  • these one i dnt like that much, seems to pick up more back ground music, and so some songs u cant really here vocals

  • @1989wyll Ok, interesting - did you check all your connections, sound card settings & software settings. Different ones will produce different results.

  • JUst watching this video with my old logitec's was good bass...keen for these ones ;)

  • @wazzawazzup Cool...go get some! :-)

  • Comment removed

  • Why is logitec so awesome. I got so many items from logitech and i love every single one of them... They never fail :D They make there items so useful and comfortable ... Thank you Logitech

  • @44445au thanks! love to hear it, glad you are so happy too!

  • is there a way to use a 3,5mm jack for input ???????? for my laptop (i use it as desktop reaplacement) sorry for bad english

  • @MrPlaystationboy yep the system comes with the connections to use on laptop, desktop, TV, PS3, DVD Player etc.

  • @logitechausnz ok thanks they have it on sale on internet for 60$ brand new is that a good price?

  • @MrPlaystationboy seems pretty good, just make sure you are buying the goods from the country that they originate from.

  • @logitechausnz yea im norweagen and have orderd lots of stuff from there and it onley takes 2-4 days shipping so i know i can trust them

  • Can u put the rear speakers on a wall?

  • @Proxyyn you can mount them using generic speaker mounts where the speaker sits in or on the mount ie they don't have screw holes or hook holes in the back of them.

  • It would be so sweet if all those speakers were wireless to the sub and all you had to do was connect the sub to the PC and power source.

  • @ClubAverage cool idea!

  • @MtDandy ok, interesting. It's always a challenge comparing speakers in that type of environment given the amount of surrounding sound and noise. You might want to head to logitech.com and check out the reviews from other people on the Z506 to hear from people that have had them in their home.

  • I started with this system hooked into my notebook. If you're considering buying this system... Don't. Instead, get a Z523. Cheaper with WAY better sound.

  • @shegb79 thanks for your feedback, we have a wide range of speaker products to suit all kinds of uses and scenarios. From desktop computers, laptops, netbooks, iPods, iPhones and iPads. If you head to logitech.com you can get more details on our range, read reviews and selectors to choose the product that will best suit your needs.

  • @logitechausnz

Besides the small company's, I only see the Z506 models going for $70-100, I can even buy overseas and get better prices, unless It's just me, but that's a bit of a difference to $149.95

  • @lolcoolmanlol44 as we posted earlier places like Big W, logitechshop, Dick Smith, JB Hi Fi etc run regular specials and offers at different prices and quite often have the Z506 available at $99 or similar pricing.

  • @HeavyMetalForLife it is often at $99 at places like Dick Smith, JB, OfficeWorks.

  • @logitechausnz Hey, I purchased these recently - but have noticed that my front left speaker has a very irritating crackling sound... Is there any way to fi this? Or should I just take it back to the shop for a replacement?

  • @lycanwolf2 just call our Support Team. Go to logitech.com and hit the Support button at the top of the page and they'll be able to sort you out in no time.

  • @justinbonytube please don't swear, your comment has been removed.

  • @logitechausnz dont swear y not the world involes in it

  • @justinbonytube yes that may be true, but we don't appreciate it on our YouTube Channel and have to also protect the interests of other viewers. We hope you understand.

  • I laughed at our over priced those speakers are at Logitech, got mine from an electronic shop for $70.00 and it wasn't even on a sale, I researched on other businesses that sell this specific model and the price was relatively the same ($70-$80.00) how come the extraordinary price? Are these even THX certified? For the price, why is it only 3d stereo sound ?

  • @lolcoolmanlol44 For the price, it's good. That's with the stereo input it's only 3D stereo sound. It has left, right and centre 3.5mm jacks, although if the sound device in use can only support one, simply remove the left and right, and it automatically switches to 3D stereo, receiving the audio through the single 3.5mm instead of the 3 3.mm's. In Australia, the standard pricing is $126.

  • @HeavyMetalFourLife @lolcoolmanlol44 in Australia the RRP for the Z506 is $149.95. There are quite regularly deals and special offers on this product from resellers, retailers & on-line stores. Big W and logitechshop are both running specials at the moment for around the $70 price - please check their websites for details. Our THX Certified products are the Z623, Z5500 and Z906 speaker systems which are available from about AUD$300 at a number of places.

  • @logitechausnz Really? I see the common price at $126 not on sale constantly?

  • @lolcoolmanlol44 Since they are a popular buy, like the system they've replaced (the X530's), they are constantly discounted. Competitive stores or stores that can afford to, will put the price lower than the RRP for other shops, but trust me, I've had these since March, replacing my X530's that got smashed to pieces, and I have to say, these are definitely better.

  • @logitechausnz hello there iwas wondering if you could tell me smth abouy those speakers cause i am getting them in about 2 to 3 days so...My computer has only 1 green round entry for the sound but those speakers have about 3 cables what am i supposed to do with the rest of them?

can you plz reply i would love it :P

  • @Kredelwow that is fine all the details are in the box about how to set these speakers up for different scenarios, including yours.

  • @Kredelwow ok thanks :)

  • @dandik123 we aren't really sure what you mean but best to jump on our Support Team Forums for speakers and they can answer all your questions by going to logitech.com and clicking the Support button at the top of the page.

  • "3D setero" huh? its funny how stereo is and always will be 2channels.. 3D sound is something completely different..

    nub...

  • @DJignyte there is some more info about that technology on our website

  • @logitechausnz

it has no option to switch off/on of 3D stereo like x540. So how can i get real 5.1 positional audio from each speaker in gaming?

I have accurate 5.1 ch sound card with 3.5mm jack (green, black & orange colour). Can i get real 5.1 ch positional audio from each speaker?

    Thanq

  • @Rockstar222555 yep depending on how you set up your sound settings, your game settings etc you will get those sorts of effects.

  • @Rockstar222555 With the Z506, it has 3 3.5mm jacks, and with the left and right unplugged, it will automatically switch to receiving the audio from 1 cable rather than 3. It also has stereo input, so if you have to use that, then you can.

  • @logitechausnz

Is it real 5.1 ch speaker? for example if i hook it up to my pc, will I still be able to hear sound traveling? For example, If I am playing Call of Duty, and there is somebody running behind me from left to right, will I hear the speakers from left to right?

Is it true 5.1 ch speaker?

    Second guestion

    which speaker is best?

    Creative t6200 or z506

  • @Rockstar222555 yep depending on how you set up your sound settings, your game settings etc you will get those sorts of effects.

  • @logitechausnz i bought these and the first one i returned because buzzing noise and rear speakers are soft, On my second one now and there exactly the same buzzing and rear even if not connected to source. just from turning them on you can hear it and i called support today and they said just get a refund because i asked should i try another and they said itll most likely be the same :( any help

  • @bobbyflyz that is such a shame to hear and doesn't sound normal as we sell lots of these speakers. Via YouTube it is quite difficult to assess, but our products do have a replacement warranty so the choice is yours really.

  • @logitechausnz I like these speakers and would like to get another one but i don't know if im going to have the same problem becuase I have looked up the issues and it seems a few people are having the same issues

  • @bobbyflyz For that price you should not expect much more. Try the z906.

  • so do all the speakers connect to the subwoofer and does it act as a receiver?

  • @Yojo850 yes everything connects to the subwoofer.

  • Bought it today, several hours trying to get subwoofer to work,, AND IT DOES NOT WORK. tRIED IT ON 50 INCH LCD,NO SUBWOOFER, COMPUTER AND LAPTOP,SAME.. VERY DISSAPOINTED . DICK SMITH USELESS ON PHONE. DOING THE 70 K ROUND TRIP IN THE MORNING TO GET MY MONEY BACK . ITS A LOAD OF RUBBISH. LOGITECH SOPPORT 9-5 MON-FRI. A JOKE IN THESE TIMES... BUY AT YOUR OWN PERIL

  • @sabre1450 sorry to hear you have had difficulties. All our products have a replacement warranty as we normally have very, very low failure rate, so its a shame that you have had difficulties. The place you purchased from will be able to address this for you.

  • @logitechausnz Do you know if logitech will create another surround set soon with HDMI support and maybe wireless speakers? I am considering to buy the Z906 but how does it do compared to other home cinema systems like Sony and Samsung? Does the z906 deliver sound comparable to Sony and Samsung surround sets?

  • Maybe this is a common question, but how do I connect the digital output of a DVD player to this sound system?

  • @potheadbear you use the RCA connectors which are included with the Z506. Most DVD Players have RCA connectors on them to do this. Alternatively you may need an adaptor of some kind depending on your player.

  • can i connect this speakers to my LCD tv?

  • @Ivan95CRO Sure can! Via the RCA or 3.5mm connections depending on what your TV has.

  • I've got a 2 channel mini hi-Fi system, can i connect those speakers to the z506 system as well?

  • @eveninghorse well the Z506 has 3.5mm & RCA connections so depending on what your system has it potentially can.

  • So if i use the 3.5mm jack to plug these in to my MacBook..the sound will come out of all 6 of the speakers even if it is only a 2 cannel source? And the sound will still be surround sound as well?

  • @12oilcitysk82 it will depend on the source material and what signals your MacBook sends to the speakers.

  • hi i know this is out of point but i just bought the logitech z906 and it's a 5.1 4 speakers, 1 center channel and a subwoofer. Can i add another speaker to my set???? please respond asap. Thanks in advance.

  • @1996Dalli unfortunately you can't. You could try a splitter cable from the connections, but we wouldn't really recommend it as it will probably reduce your sound output.

  • @Bluewolf2028 hi - this really depends on your preferences. The Z506 can plug into the PS3 using the RCA leads or 3.5mm connection. The Z506 is only 5.1 and you can't expand it to be 7.1. Although if you want the complete experiece with 5.1, digital etc then go to our logitech.com site and look at the Z5500's

  • need some set up advice before i purchase.I have a ps3 console on order.an i'm gonna hook it up to a new 1080p HD Computer monitor.but not to an actual computer.so ps3,monitor and this logitech for the sound.my question is how do i achieve that,do u hook it into the ps3?or into the monitor or both?and how do u set up the surround quality.thanks in advance.ps i hope its suitable for blue ray and ps3 gaming .also do u guys sell a 7.1channel as my ps3 can handle that too or will this be fine.thnx

  • @Bluewolf2028 I dont recommend this piece of trash. I bought a set of z506 and i had to return it to the shop, because it had a hum when in silence. Now, i have a new set and it has a annoying noise after some time of use, i noticed it in middle of a movie and later, after one hour of playing PS3. Answering you, you have to use the red and white audio cables that comes with your PS3, and configure in audio output settings on PS3 not HDMI but the mentioned output.

    But you are advised anyway...

  • Does the bass differ from z506 to the z2300??

  • @tonycns yep it sure does. While both are awsome the Z2300 is a much larger sub with more power.

  • @logitechausnz hi im thinking about getting this next thursday and i'm just wondering have there been any problems complants about the product i'll buy regardless because i swear by logitech as ive had your webcam and other products and had no problems i just want an honest opinion because $79 in Aus from Aldi seems to good to be true thanks in advance if you can reply soon!

    Cheers Nicko!!

  • @nicko198718 not that we know of, go grab them! Just remember if you do have any problems they have a replacement warranty anyway.

  • so i heard it makes weird noise is it true?
