@MrAquarius7, in the demo thats what I did to every city I came across. Once I captured the airfield, I used the spotter plane to pick out town squares where enemy forces were located. Also used the encription ruse to read their messages to get their locations. I then send in a hand full (5) tanks with rocket launchers and leveled the cities. Then after I did that I dropped 10 airborne divisions in the town square. Better than using that atomic long tom artillery gun.
@Milner62, Yep the Long Tom artillery gun is just over kill. Sure it makes the game a quick and easy win but cmon you can nuke a city and then instantly drop paratroopers into the city and they dont die of radiation. Not only that but you can be far away and lob a shell out of dangers way. Only way id support nuclear is if they could be carried by bombers and you need a B-29 heavy bomber just to do it.
@hotlauwtje If you play it, you would notice that this is just the zooming function, if you zoom all the way down until ground level, all units will be on a realistic scale.
Just try it. The purpose here is to make the game playable on all scales that is way units looks like stacks of coins when you zoom out.
@Emeriy1 i have it for the xbox 360 and its awesome, i really suggest you that if u like this kind of game and you real-life like war strategy, buy it. being sincere in the other side at least for the 360 the controls at times aren smooth at all, also the story its a little bit predictable. In my case i love it its like having one of those maps from history books about battles in a game where you are the main protagonist. Btw if you have a multitouch pc ill envy you

Well... The game looks intense, but since it's produced by Ubisoft I can already tell it won't be worth whatever they charge. Splinter Cell Conviction, Silent Hunter 5, Far Cry 2... There was always a lack of finesse. If it's not about unecessarily high requirements like Silent Hunter 5, it's either extremely bad connection to servers or thousands of CTDs. There will definetely be something wrong with this game, and I suggest you wait for other people to buy the game and read/hear their opinion.
@arthaskiller During the BETA sometimes the game would freeze or due to others connections (High pings) the game would not start. I hope this isn't the same with RUSE!
@jakeboston1 Man this is the crappy type of strategy games, like napoleon total war and stuff, warcraft 3 is the real good strategy game, who cares it's out of the normal, the gameplay is just stunning, if i need to play a game with unrealistic graphics but have fun in the process so be it!
@UndyingWrath ha, who cares about graphics? I still have fun playing the original MGS than the new MGS4. Or the old Duke Nukem, Twisted Metal, Off Road, Spyro, etc, than the new MW2, Halo 3, etc. Plus i perfer the WW1 era to the modren era when it comes to strategy gameplay.
Its really a lot different. Base building, and lots more strategy. The main point of the game is to deceive your enemy while gathering information on him to counter his attacks, and to be knowledgeable about how he is deceiving you.

There will definetely be something wrong with this game, and I suggest you wait for other people to buy the game and read/hear their opinion.

@arthaskiller During the BETA sometimes the game would freeze or due to others connections (High pings) the game would not start. I hope this isn't the same with RUSE!

@jakeboston1 Man this is the crappy type of strategy games, like napoleon total war and stuff, warcraft 3 is the real good strategy game, who cares it's out of the normal, the gameplay is just stunning, if i need to play a game with unrealistic graphics but have fun in the process so be it!

@UndyingWrath ha, who cares about graphics? I still have fun playing the original MGS than the new MGS4. Or the old Duke Nukem, Twisted Metal, Off Road, Spyro, etc, than the new MW2, Halo 3, etc. Plus i perfer the WW1 era to the modren era when it comes to strategy gameplay.

Its really a lot different. Base building, and lots more strategy. The main point of the game is to deceive your enemy while gathering information on him to counter his attacks, and to be knowledgeable about how he is deceiving you.
