@antzy25 It looks like the attachment is optional, I think you should be able to use just the touchscreen.

@antzy25 To make room for new features. The GBA slot needed a lot of room inside the DS, because it used actual GBA hardware (unlike emulators, which you can run on the DSi using flashcarts). Some of the new features were the internal harddrive (for DSiWare, for downloading games digitally), and the two cameras.

Actually this WILL work on a dsi but you can't use the keyboard attachment. You can use the in-game keyboard though, which works even if it doesn't have the same feel as the attachment.

As the DSi doesn't have a Slot-2 port it obviously won't work. Similar to the way the Guitar Hero DS games aren't compatible with the DSi.
