I store all my games in my damp, dark basement on a shelf originally designed for compact CDs. I have limited room on the top shelf, which is the only shelf tall enough for the games. The only spot I could find for my only special edition (bioshock 2) is on a shelf below the main one. It hardly fits and I slam into it every time I walk past.

Ahh, another great vid !! This might sound alittle off the wall but it works according to several friends, put a game chair in there and blow up some balloons and tape them on the chair, the cat will check out chair/balloons and they will pop - it will scare the cat but not harm him, repeat until cat learns to stay off - it also works on x-mas trees down low - its a thought !!

I got that same black shelf from Best Buy and your right man, they are a PAIN to put together yet feel SUPER cheap lol...Wow, impressive DS collection. Great game room! There's a lot of similarities in our rooms/collections. Those best buy shelves are extremely cheap quality, but once they're anchored to the wall they're pretty nice. Everyone needs a CRT tv for classic gaming, if anything yours may be a little small.

I hope that when I'm in my late 20's-30's, as long as I don't become a dumbass and keep up with my collectig without removing anything from my collection, that my video game collection will be as impressive as yours. I currently only have between 160-200 games.(Should catalog the again. i had them previously catalogged on an app on my iphone 3gs, then it broke, and I didn't back it up online, so I have yet to re-catalog everything on my iphone 4.Too lazy.)

@beyoncefan2382 If you like platformers, Kirby's epic Yarn and Epic Mickey are very good. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers is also one of my favorite games on the system. :)

Craig, as usual a wonderful game room with a lot of great coverage of pretty much all the systems and genres! Sadly I had to cram both my movie and my game collection in one room while having room for a desk area. The result is still very enjoyable. Very happy with my game room for sure.
