You are very likely to see it, and take a full tour ...for $20. There is no security guard there, just the owner. He'll take anyone through it that wants to see it.

It was a real hospital at one time. After it closed, the guy that ownes it rents it out to hollywood movie and tv people.

University Medical Center was what North Hollywood Medical Center was called on camera before the Scrubs crew turned up.

There were a couple of areas that still looked like a functioning hospital, with beds, equipment, and paperwork on desks, but for the most part, it was gutted and empty

Guess its going to be used for minor things when shows need a hospital scene now.

I found the address for it online and plugged it into my garmin.

The owner there will give you a tour for $20. He let me take as many pics as I wanted, but he wouldn't let me take video of the inside. ...He told me this after I walked down the hall making this video, haha. He showed me where all kinds of scenes were filmed. I got a lot of great pics.

He says the hospital was used in Bones, and will be visited in the next season of Scrubs.

I didn't post my pics anywhere yet, I'll let you know if I do.

Actually, the owner hangs out there everyday by himself, waiting for film production people to look at his place, and he gives tours to people like me that just show up :)
