I might not be right, but I remember that Montel Williams was on "Touched by An Angel" once, so that's what I thought of b/c it looks like they're at the pearly gates. However, I don't think that is Redd Foxx in that clip.

I love that show except for the fact that it was set in Los Angeles. It didn't look like Los Angeles. It didn't feel like Los Angeles. I think it would have been more sensible if it was in Sanford's home town of St Louis, maybe Detroit or Baltimore, or any slightly smaller southern or mid-western town rather than the huge, megacity of Los Angeles.

im from NYC, but I live in LA. and i gotta say this show is set in WATTS. a ghetto near compton in LA. and actually the show is all WATTS. from the references to the police and being pulled over. to the beef between blacks and latinos. its all Watts, LA. not to mention crime, con men. and once i was driving through south LA and i noticed the real Leo's BBQ. in the heart of the ghetto. so it IS an LA show. this is where Menace 2 Society was. its hood but full of good hard working people.
