they trust their owner, they are just playing. plus, for cats who live in flats and spend the whole day inside a house, things like theese are stimulating and healthy, even if it scares them a wee bit.

@lpgurlnj Yes, it is normal. The cat's eye is taking in a lot more light so they can see more clearly. When a cat's attention is focused on something, especially while playing/attacking their eyes will be like that. Also, they are like that when they are happy.
