doesn't Udi's use refined oils in their foods?? like canol/safflower/sunflower oil?
i've found that most GF foods may actually be less healthy, overall, than gluten foods...as they often have a lot of sugar, and cooked fats, to make up for the missing gluten flavors
Thanks so much for making this video! My girlfriend recently was diagnosed with Celiac and I thought she couldn't have normal sandwiches, but now there's hope
I liked your honest video review. It was indeed an instant video review. I am from India and I am now motivated to create my own honest video reviews for various types of food products.
You can find their products in the freezer section (all of their products are frozen). Their bagels are the only gluten free bagels that taste like the real deal. The white bread makes the best grilled cheese. Try a Hyvee grocery store, since they have a large gluten free section.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I just started using Udi's products. Just the bread so far and I was amazed at how soft it was and how good it tasted. I did not want to commit to the muffins just in case I did not like them. BUT after seeing this video, I will definitely try ALL of the products in my local grocery store. Thank you, young man, for your review. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Keep up the good work. Hey, Udi, give this man a job!
Oh hey! Have you thought about intellectus 424 diet (search on google)? Ive heard some unbelivable things about it and my buddy lost crazy amounts of weight with it.
Gluten Free Kneads has great thin pizza crusts and cookie mixes. I never cared for any GF products whose main substitute ingredients are rice, soy, corn. They do not taste good, they lack nutrition, and they should not be overpriced since rice, soy, corn are all government subsidized ingredients.
I was just recently diagnosed and got some rice bread that was horrible. I'm going to print the coupon off of Udi's website and get some to try. Thanks for the review.
I just discovered Udi's about a month ago and it is by far the best gluten free products I've had. while I don't have Celiac disease, I do have Fibromyalgia and too much wheat and gluten makes my joints hurt. Dude, If you haven't had an opportunity to try their bagels . . .
OMG I'm so excited to see your review!!!! I got diagnosed with Celiac about 4 moths ago and I've been having a very hard time following my new diet, especially since I love to bake. A couple of days ago I saw this product on a gluten free website and I was debating on trying it. My husband found a couple of stores in my area that carries them and now I'm really excited to try them out. We are going to the store tomorrow!!!

Thanks for sharing your views on gluten-free products. You should try Breads from Anna. They are baking mixes and they're awesome tasting. Soft. Flavorful. I was really surprised. The pizza/pie crust mix is excellent. I went nuts for the herb bread. The sweet breads (pumpkin and banana) were excellent too, If you don't have them in your local store, Anna has a web site - just google "breads from anna"!
Hi there I am lucky enough to have experienced Udi straight from the source and Barrett is not kidding about anything he is saying. The funny thing is I dont have Celiac's and I use to eat there at least once a week, my work would order there bc it was a skip from Westwood Denver North where I was a admin assistant. So if someone who doesnt have to be gluten free willingly chooses Udi then yeah!!! lol oh and go to the website and put in your zipcode it wll tell u where to shop for the products!
hey barrett...just found ur channel...i also have celiac along with the dermatitis skin rash called DH....i will get u some names of really good gluten free donuts..it can really be a hassle...When i discovered the udi's bread I went crazy...i watch my weight so I can't buy it too often..I'll break out if I eat gluten....hang in there...okay.
Barett, austrian baking and some Swiss and German have no flour cakes man,Almonds, hazelnuts,,,,(alond or hazelnut sponge cake<< has no flour, good luck,,
I've had the Ubi's whole grain bread -- aside from some black flecks in the loaf, it looks and tastes like regular white bread. Great taste, moisture, and texture -- it has the elasticity of wheat bread. Definitely the best gluten-free bread I've tried, and just as good as the better wheat white breads I've had.
Order online. I just tried the bread at a gluten free expo and it is the BEST GF bread on the market!!!! Taste just like I remember regular bread tasting. It's $5 a loaf so it's actually cheaper than most GF breads. Truly amazing taste and texture :-)
Interesting video! I don't have any food allergens but I'm always trying to eat healthily. I guess it was good idea they asked you to review their product, because now I'm tempted to buy something from their online store.
Gluten is not the cause of weight gain or loss. One can eat a completely gluten free diet and still be fat as a house. Just wanted to add that because some people have a misconstrued view in relation to gluten and its effect on one's body.
it depends on the person,it has different side effects on different people.not eating it doesnt make a difference.but having celiac can make you skinny, regardless of how much gluten you do or dont eat.
I am on the gluten free diet as well. :( It is hard. I've tried hundreds of breads..well maybe not hundreds but still all the ones I tasted were horrible. After watching this I just might have to order from Udis..
I was diagnosis with celiac disease back in 2005 and I have diebetes sent 2004 when I was 22 years old and My Dad just got diagnosis with celiac disease that 51 years old last monday. Thanks Barrett TV for tell us about Udi foods.

She has to read labels all the time over and over to be sure cuz she had some type of allergic reaction once and I was scared.. I really feel for u Barrett, cuz i see what my mom has to go thru
Thanks for this Barrett! My daughter has several food allergies, and some of the gluten free stuff has worked out for us. I am always interested in finding new things she might enjoy. I just hope I can get some of their products in my area :).
I have tried a few gluten free products in the past because I was curious to see how they tasted. Most of them including some chocolate chip cookies were horrible, they tended to be very dry and tasteless.
i understand. my bff has celiac and she made me eat her food one time cause i wanted mcdonalds but she couldnt eat anything there... she didnt want a salad. lol. it was disgusting. and its kinda hard 2 describe the texture of the gluten free bread. i tasted her sandwich ... ugh. id almost rather starve! lol.

You did the hard work in completely altering your diet which was the healthiest road to take and your body thanks you and will thank you in the long run especially. Great review! But go easy now :)
