  • it may work if that person doesnt set an admin password most business and people now set admin passwords to prevent a backdoor into their system so this may not work

  • thats not sneaky, or a trick

  • Song name?

  • This isn't a trick... it's common knowledge..

  • Step 1: It was smart to put dat cause what if we are using a diff computer and we wanna use it on an other computer

  • isnt a secret! when you turn on your computer it says on the bottom "press F8 for options"!! nice job on the video though!

  • IDIOTTT

  • actually youre not suppose to repetedly type F8 thats bad for the computer youre suppose to hold it... and furthermore using safe mode greatly limits what you can do...

  • @CatFish21sm

a better way is if youre using windows xp wait for the login screen press alt+ctrl+del and a box should pop up with youser name and password... for username type in administrator and make sure their is nothing in the password slot press enter there you go its a secret hidden account thats built into all but windows 7 as far as i know

  • Song name?

  • @lizardgizzard108 No-one knows, it's a secret xp installation track. If you have XP:

Go to "C:/WINDOWS/system32/oobe/images/", and then look for title.wma.

    Hope that helped. :)

  • @lizardgizzard108 Hey! You were in the other video where you said your cmd has blocked commands or something.

  • lol what makes this even funnier is that ur using a hidden song track within the windows system32. comment if im right lol

  • @95roadkill yhea but it has parental controls on it

  • yhea but my dad put a password on the admin account lol

  • @Halocehelp do you have a user?

  • at step one: i pressed the button to turn the computer on, ad he shutted down --'

  • I'm having great trouble finding the yes key in order to press yes.

  • Now tell me: what the fuck of a trick is this shit? Even my grandma actually knows about Safe-Mode. And, one more thing, even if you have the box where you need to type the Account Name too, just type in Administrator...

  • :20 last I checked, without did not have a "G" in it.

  • download and create your own paycheck stubs with our ready made templates. search us online at paycheck stub templates or employmentverified

  • Or you could disable the built-in Administrator account to not have this happen to you. -_-

  • my rafolcopter soi soi soi soi soi soi soi lol

  • Everybody use windows title music (hidden music) :D

  • Another way to do this is to press ctrl-alt-delete at the welcome screen and then type in "administrator" w/o the quotes. No password is needed. Every windows computer has this. And from there you can use the command prompt to change passwords and pretty much do whatever you want.

  • how do i get the music

  • hmmmmm NoOb comes to mind!

  • withought LOL

  • You could take this much further, just start Windows Safe mode with Command Prompt, When ur in there, u could change the password without knowing the current one etc etc.. : )

  • @Frederiko94 yes,but by doing so,the PC owner (who entered the password in first place),will know that something's happened,so will either understand you did something,or will call an expert to unlock pc,and learn more about passwords and stuff/turn into old password or use a new one and all this shiet,so i wouldnt recommend it if ur having trouble entering the pc cuz of password..

  • hey uh my computer cant get into safe mode after i hit enter it just starts giving pre-programed (not by me) commands to it's self then crashes

    -Techboy

  • hey uh my computer cant get into safe mode after i hit enter it just starts giving pre-programed (not by me) commands to it's self then crashes

  • If you have to accounts o nthe computer can you choose which one to accsess

  • safe mode and go to control panel and delete the person password :)

  • that was very very useful!

would you be so kind to explain the steps to switching on the computer?

  • Or you can just use Hiren Boot...

  • What if i use "Administrator" account by default and have a password on it.....

  • Step 1:turn on your computer.Well, our computers are on because were watching this video.Lol

  • @TheBuzaShow haha lol :P

  • who muted the song

  • @TheBuzaShow we could be on phones, ipod's, ipads, ps3's, tv's, or wii's.

  • Safe mode?? Well f**k me, I had NO idea!!! To think I've been just tossing my laptops into the trash and buying new ones. I am such an idiot.

  • What if there is a BIOS password and the hard drive is encrypted? Will Safe Mode work then or do I need buy a new computer?

  • @Unknown0rigin Save mode is just a mode of Windows in which Windows starts with only it's basic drivers and software.

It has nothing to do with either your bios or your harddrive. If you can't get into safe mode, your computer is probably just broken. :)

  • @Unknown0rigin kidding, right..?!

  • i got a virus from this

  • Wow what a stupid pointless video! Got any more of these stupid pointless videos? lmfao

  • Lol.. Why would you tell me to turn on my PC when I'm obviously using it to watch this video?

  • @MrWaffles224 hahahahahahaha

  • If the whole video is just text - why make a video?

  • @Szceith why would he only post a description on youtube, even though you can't? posting a video on youtube makes more sense to me.

  • @Deenis1234 Exactly, so why post it on youtube in the first place?

  • step 1. NO DUH. dumb ass

  • doesnt work anymore if u have updated the win - its same as when u will repair your win with the comand prompt - u cant because u will be asked for the Admin password and thats not your password but the password for the hiden admin account - so for sure go to computer managment and there under local users and groups find the built in admin account and set a pswd

  • i did this once and my laptop beeped REALLY loud, and i'm not kidding. it was loud as hell, it scared me to death. i was like, "HOLY SHIT!?!?!?!" in my mind and shut the damn thing closed. i was in shock, and then i was scared to open it. (P.S. i was like 8 years old so...) btw i don't have that laptop anymore... CURSE YOU!!!!

  • "Step one: Turn on your computer"

    Yeeaahh.. right.

How are we watching this vid.. then?

  • @C0DESUB u memorize it in ur head dumbfuck.

  • Wow. This fails. Not knowing how to do safe mode makes you a beginner in Computer Knowledge. I mean REALLY! Edit your video and say that Safe Mode DOES NOT remove/help remove all Viruses. Safe mode only puts your computer in a limited state so you can debug anything which in normal system loading will have an error. Plus, no one can sue you for going onto safe mode, unless you do something with it.

  • Doesnt work in Vista/7. Admin is off by default in Vista, and 7 HAS no Admin account.

  • @leracos Technically it does. The account is called SYSTEM. It has command to kill root drivers.

  • @Master77443322 Any and every technician with a brain knows that the SYSTEM account is not accessible EVER by any means for ANYBODY. It's always been completely locked out, ever since Win2k.

  • @leracos I said Technically. I never said it was possible.

  • @Master77443322 Not possible also means not technically. <3 Political correctness.

  • @leracos It doesn't work in XP home edition either

  • @CoolCat3541 Yep, you are correct my friend. XP Home actually has all the advanced features of Pro disabled by default, so they can't be toyed around with. This includes Group Policy management and most snap-ins to the MMC console.

  • so your super secret "trick" is booting into safe mode?

  • SystemRescueCD is 1000 times better and actually works :D

XP's Admin account is disabled by default with SP2/3.

  • the problem is safe mode is like crap

  • what do u do if the administrator acount has a password?

  • @stydel311 It does not work

  • you made my comoerter have a virus!

  • @u73811 Rofl what an imbecile.

  • You can do this without Safe mode just start the computer normally then just don't log in Press ctrl+alt+del a box should appear type in the user-name ADMINISTRATOR and leave the password blank and here you go

NB : Doesn't work on all computers

  • @bebobanabebo it only works on windows xp.

  • i got stuck at step 1

  • @Iglitchlife I pissed me self laughing

    :D Epic

  • @Careful278 :D

  • will it work with school computers

  • @kyl1998 idk im not sure about that....

  • This is a great video, but you should re-do it in a "simpler" English for more people to understand- I got quite lost.

  • lol, this is an verry old trick...

  • @IWannABecomEaDJ "an verry" or it should be "a very" ? lol-ness.. haha

  • shit!! what when the Admin has a Password? -.- ThumbDown

  • 1. Safe Mode doesnt gir rid of viruses, it limits the startup items to those only required by windows (and those may be infected)

    2. What do you do if a password is set on the administrator account?

    3. What if they disable safe mode?

    4. This is not a secret way to get on, just another way....

  • I've done this to turn off my password when I forgot it... helped alot!

  • Ok, I'm lost. Could you go over step 1? XD

  • @AwesomeX66 LOOOOOOOOOOL <3

  • @AwesomeX66 me too buddy, step one is too complex for me...

  • I've been hearing this song for a lot of videos.

Just for curiosity, what's the song called?

  • "withought a password" um dont u mean without r u a retard?

  • @LuceoLeo Coming from someone who just said "r u a retard"...

  • I swear this music was on the ending of Street Fighter Alpha 3.

  • @BlackMetalMovies It wasn't on the ending. The ending theme of SFA3 was called "Daybreak", it sounds a little bit the same.

  • How in the hell is booting in safe mode a trick?

  • ....... N00B .........

  • OLD

  • um, this trick is sort of obvious??

  • how the hell is this a special trick.. boooring.

  • What song is this?

  • @TheBeatlesToday It's a windows song,u can find it on your computer C:\WINDOWS\system32\oobe\images and there is a sound named title:)))

  • @TheBeatlesToday U have it on your computer C:\WINDOWS\system32\oobe\images, and there is a sound named title :)))

  • @Bukka96 I have a Mac.

  • we don't need step one

    ;D

  • at least this works

plz chek mi vid on microsoft insulting celebrities

  • it's very obvious you always start on turning you computer on

  • What if your admin account has a password? fucking idots.

  • @bobcowz If they think that Safe mode is some kind of a magical trick, do you think they know how to put a password on the Administrator account? :))

They have no idea you can log on using the Administrator account without using safe mode. :))

    Noobs!

  • where is the rating bar on this new gay utube update???

  • @crazynoob3 this is a old video that's why it still says that

  • you cant access anything important. u need admin rights. dumbass vid. gtfo.

  • lol u used the hidden music

  • @superkidclaireo waht?

  • @superkidclaireo i have the files on the internet!

  • @superkidclaireo what hidden music?

  • @superkidclaireo go to my profile i have the whole song

  • @superkidclaireo lol i didnt watch any vid for that i was bored and was looking around in some folders and found a VLC Folder which means i needed VLC Player to show it and i looked it up and there it was!

  • I fell into a coma watching this crap. : (

  • haahhh safe ode isnt a trick

  • if you do safe mode with command prompt you can open command prompt and type in net user. then type in net user (your account) * and you will be able to change the pass word.you wont be able to see the letters but it will work. Note: You actually do need to type the asterisk (star)

  • not on my vista lol

  • nah get it on File Hippo

  • if u know the trick why ur bothering watching the video? its a good video for educational purposes so stfu and watch other vids....

  • Ok Vidio but not a trick of windows just one of those things people know and it dont always work when you get a virus becuase viruses disable safmode :/ alot of the time but thanks for sharing this will be a great vidio for someone who is learning simple tools of microsoft also the administrator account in vista is not active until you make it active in the command line and dose not show up like it did in windows xp only the active accounts show hope this helps thanks

  • oh wow...that's amazing.

    tip for YOU.

people who don't know about boot options and safe mood shouldn't be let anywhere NEAR safe mode cause obviously they don't OWN the PC or windows copy. most people who own their own pc/windows copy already know this. it's old news. you're not really educating, just wasting time.

  • Pretty much... You're a noob that cannot spell...

  • wow. thats sad.. u call ppl noobs on youtube?

    how lame....

  • First - you are dumb.

Second - press Ctrl-Alt-Del twice in the welcome screen to get the "box".

Third - any not-a-noob user password protects the Admin account...

  • @Aurelovanovalopta ctrl+alt+del twice is only for windows xp pro edition

  • This is no trick - just a way to use Win...

An the res. is low becouse in safe mode all devices are turned off (graphic card also)...

This video is stupid becouse this isn't sneaky trick....

  • I knew this trick without seeing the video, and I've used Windows since I was just a little boy.

By the way, nice song you used. What's it called?

  • hi its a windows xp song found when u get to the pont Thank u for purchsing windows xp in the setup

    its still found in:

    C:\WINDOWS\System32\oobe\images\title.wma

btw im only 9 yrs old

  • u fail cos in safem mode u still need a password!

  • No - you dont - Windows Uses an Administration to control admin effect for the system (kinda a super admin for the pc) - Just simply click adminstrator.

If you still need a password when you click Adminstrator, that means you have set it on the Administrators account settings.

  • dude im not a virgin and dont were glasses

    bitch

  • Could have saved 1:04 by saying "Start in safe mode".

  • this has been in windows since windows 95 >_> and one of the first things i knew about lol

  • I'v been staring at computers for over 7 years now and im still nowhere near as arrogant and up my own ass as you lot are, how do you all manage it?

Bet over 75% of you wear glasses and are virgins still. GO OUTSIDE!!

  • omg, I'm not a virgin, but I wear glasses... does this mean I have to go outside too? And btw, I just looked it up, 96 million people wear glasses. Including my parents. Are you saying they should go out too? Cuz it's kinda cold out... Oh, and another thing: If you actually work with your computer instead of just staring at it for 7 years, you might enjoy yourself a little more.

  • Ok fair enuff i resent the glasses comment, it was quite unaccurate and personal. Virgin statement still applys. And yes you should go outside, you all should, its good for you, even tho its cold. Theres people out there! And colours, buses etc. In relation to your failed attempt on sarcasm about me staring at computers, heres me being 100% genuine, Yes thankyou for the advice i've made a personal to self about that and I shall revise it all the time. Your the inspiration this world is lacking.

  • @BurnDadah same here. I wear glasses. No shame.

  • Haha, lol shut up you. I'm having a 17 year computer design/3D/games/C experience. I don't wear glasses, I have friends & I go outside

  • Lol, wahey! Someone with a good sense of humour. Its good to hear man, people just annoy me with all the snide comments they leave on peoples work. Its kind of uncalled for, I bet they wouldnt say it all in person. Sorry to everyone that doesnt fit criteria in my above rants, those of you that do... sort it out

  • Ehehe xD

  • Shit.

  • Well if there is an administrator password, this video is fail

  • step one=OBVIOUS fail

  • Well this video is shit.

  • protect yourself from people doing this! go to run and type "control userpasswords2" then choose Administrator, reset and type a password

  • SNeaky??! FUkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!

  • Step One: Turn on your computer - as if, how would we be watching this, try restart

  • useless vid

  • if you have the text based login you can just type admin as user an it has no password most times also i think if the default admin is protected then you can enter the console and default(removing) the password I forget the command tho that or im thinking of something else

  • That's just a peace of crap... If someone protects the comp, he/she'll put a password on the hidden administrator account too... LOL But if you discovered it just this time, it means you didn't install allready any os-es xDDD

  • Wont work on all computers. Only if you have a hidden admin account. In XP I only have one account and its the admin account and its password protected. On Vista machines if they are set up correctly the admin account will also have a password. You can get around this too, but thats another vid.

  • Ahh your all assholes

  • You went to all that trouble, and I sat through 2 minutes of that shitty soundtrack just to find out something everyone already knows: you're a knob.

  • lol this isnt a trick

  • what a joke. im glad all people of the world are still retards when it comes to how computers work. if you didn't know about safe mode until now. kill yourself. please.

  • dude shut up. you're only acting like a tough ass because we're online... this is pointless. either nut up meet me in person or shut the fuck up.

  • Yeah yeah , just shut up and piss someone else , im not arguing with a fucking noob bb

  • haha yeah. that's what i thought.

  • Who cares about his english, s'long you can understand it.

  • makes no difference now, he realized my e-balls are way bigger then his. and he deleted all his comments so. :P

  • And then you can us the well known CMD trick to get that User's password - Genius...

  • which is....?

  • OK.

This is not a trick; It's just using safe mode to access the administrator account.

Not to mention, if the administrator account is password protected this will not work.

And finally i strongly reccomend that you password protect the administrator account.

Start > Run > [Type] "lusrmgr.msc" > Hit enter > [Configure a password for the administrator account]
