Watching Sarah Palin has the same morbid fascination as watching a train wreck. I'm squirming in horror, but I can't look away. She and her family are like a cross between Arrested Development and Northern Exposure. I didn't find the turkey slaughter that gross (I spent part of my childhood on a ranch), but her obliviousness is amazing. She's like a much less bright female version of George Bush.
