  • NEXT TO REEVE WHO IS THE BEST SUPERMAN EVER IS BRANDON ROUTH! PLEASE BRING BRANDON ROUTH BACK!!! HE IS THE BEST AFTER REEVE!!!

  • Bring back Routh, but not Bosworth. OMG she's boring. Nothing like Lois Lane should be. Parker Posey was mis-cast, she would have done a faar better Lane than Bosworth..

  • Sure, let Singer have another go and cast Routh.

If Routh can throw on a few pounds and they portray him slightly matured, set it 2-5 years after the events of Returns with a comfortable Superman at his prime, saving lives, working at the planet, being in love with Lois and going home to Ma Kents pies on the weekends.

It's a great blank slate, then have a crisis shatter Supermans (relative) peace, pile on the action and boom!

We have a movie and Routh gets a second chance.

  • BRING BRANDON ROUTH BACK!!!!

  • I was shocked to learn he wasn´t going to be Superman again!

This guy was perfect. And I just loved how the story brought Superman to the point he understands that all that power is not enough for all that he hears. " i hear everything"

It is just plain stupid not bringing him back. He is a great Superman!

  • Truth be told .. Superman returns may not have been action packed but in true comic fashion in terms of DC lore it actually succeeded greatly.. But because the film wasn't made for teenagers with hour long fights with transformers it did poorly to some people. Singer did an excellent job introducing him back in to a modern age.. The movie was setup to have a sequel like the original superman.. its a shame they didn't let Singer continue his story.. Bring routh back....

  • --- Agree… Bring Brandon back! I heard that they’re thinking of getting some other popular actors to play the part. But, from what I’ve seen of some of the prospects, the field is pretty dismal! Let’s face it; Christopher Reaves was the best face and persona of the superman character! And now that he’s gone, Brandon is the best to carry on the legend.

  • The Dark Knight's Director should cast the new Superman if there will be another one.

  • @StandingThree Dark Knight Director cast Superman? LOL! His Bale choice as Batman sucked!

  • He fits Superman really well, they should keep him

  • I liked the fact they used an unknown actor. And Brandon was not bad, he defo looked the part. I just thought he lacked Christopher Reeves' charisma and screen presence.

Perhaps Bryan Singer thought so to, because Brandon dousnt say to much when hes costumed as Supes.

  • Why Brandon was not chosen to play Superman in the reboot is beyond me!

  • @mindovermuscle2 You just answered your own question. It is not a sequel, which it should be. It is a recrap therefore new actors.

  • tom welling is the new superman!!!

  • Routh was terrible and Bryan Singer was even worse. Hopefully the man who saved Batman can do the same for Supes.

  • @scoreface Saved Batman? LMAO, now that is a joke just like Bale.

  • Recasting Routh out is just wrong. He made an excellent Superman. Fix what percieved problems they think the series has...but Routh was NOT one of them.

  • I like routh as superman and the son story line i would have like to see what type of father he would have been. They did need to fix something. How come lois knew she had sex with superman but did not remenber he is clark.Im tired of lex .This was a Good lex fun and just mean.lol talk about kicking a man when he s down.but they have other villians that can match superman strenth.Doomdays has been seen to much in the comic and cartoon but i think it time for the big screan.

  • All our super heros are going to get RE-BOOTED up the ass. I thought Routh did a great job and I don't think the new guy will top him. Superan Returns had its issues, but Routh was not one of them. I am glad to see him in other movies (Scott P).

  • Loved this movie they should have brought back Brandon Routh

  • @kalel248 yeah, stupid move.

  • The way Brandon epitomized Chistopher Reeve in almost every respect, I dont think there could be another

  • @Hawkeman67 true that!

  • if they want to take this sequel to another level.. y don't they just pick JIM CARRY!

  • hell yeah! they can't just change the actors for every superman sequel. look what they did for batman! changing the director wud not be a bad idea though.

  • @MrOcir73 Too many ego issues on Batman that caused all that garbage.

  • Not bad Superman best one since Christopher Reeve.

Anyone agree. I hope they do a sequel with him in. And all the other main cast like Spacey and Bosthwick.

  • i LOVE TOME WELLING and BRANDON ROUTH but i think BRANDON is more hotter tha TOM. thumbs up if you agree. :)

  • i think BRANDON ROUTH is THE BEST SUPERMAN. They should make another movie casting him of course as SUPERMAN. He is definitely perfect for the role of SUPERMAN. WE WANT BRANDON ROUTH as SUPERMAN!!!!

  • @81superninja watch this:

    watch?v=mNAx7yIjSRg&feature=feedu

I sell Superman Returns suit. Want to buy?

  • I read an article which stated Superman Returns was so bad, it could destroy the Superman franchise as well as Brandon Routh's career. THAT JUST ISN'T TRUE!!!! I really love this movie. It's my go-to movie. I'm peeved the next Superman movie won't have Brandon Routh nor follow the son-storyline created in Superman Returns. REALLY disappointed.

  • @grayspeak Me too! I think Brandon was an amazing Superman/Clark Kent. He was so perfect in the role. I hate the actor they've chosen Henry Cavil. He just doesn't look the part and I don't care what he will look like in the suit. Also Amy Adams as Lois Lane?! I mean WTF!!! That's pathetic casting. I mean I really hated Kate Bosworth as Lois and then now Amy! Anyway they are messing up these films badly. I can't understand why they just couldn't use Brandon again.

  • i didn't like christopher reeves but i liked brandon routh. when they said they wer egoing to work on another horrible xmen movie (wolverine i think it was) instead of superman sequel, i knew i'll never see brandon routh as superman again. sad.

  • nah i dont like him christpher reeve was perfct . i think it should be tom welling

  • Acting-wise I think Routh did an adequate job. But there was something about his face that made him look more like superboy than superman. Build-wise Reeves just seemed more bulkier than Routh. One specific thing that I noticed was that while Routh does have a great physique, his neck muscles aren't as thick as Reeve's. Believe it or not, a simple thing like that can really create bulk in a physique.

  • @undeadnightorc

I think the suit made him look thinner. It was a darker color than the original and colors can easily make someone look thinner.

  • They went for a Reeve look rather than a Superman look!!!

  • Routh was good as Superman, but very bad as Clark. to much CGI and a bad story. Should have not tried to link to Reeve movies. Lois Lane was a very bad choice. Should have made in an alternate reality like Batman where things look 40ish, but with technology from future.

  • @rkhufu7

He did absolutely perfect at Clark. His tap on the adorable Reeveness was what made me have an instant connection towards the character all over again. It made it convincing.

  • Absolutley, Brandon Routh managed to capture the magic that Christopher Reeves brought to the role. Watching 'Superman Returns' was like watching Reeves come back from the dead. I'm not saying that others shouldn't be allowed to take up the mantle. But for me, I think Brandon did an amazing job. And I want to see him in the next film; no disrespect to anyone else who thinks they can do the job!

  • @sandavsin

I hope with this new "Henry Cavill" guy, I hope they might keep both Clark & Superman friendly enough to be able to connect with. But I have a feeling they'll make him unnaturally dark and brooding.....like Batman....since for SOME BIZARRE reason, everyone thinks he's the perfect superhero. (Of course Batman's not. Nor is he a Super hero. More like a Hero. He doesn't even have a bit of powers like his doppleganger Owlman does. How lame.)

  • Fuck Routh, Fuck Singer, Fuck the writers of Superman Returns

  • i cant stop dreaming brandon routh as superman hes the reason why ill go to panchinko coz superman return in that place here in japan

  • i like Brandon! HE DESERVES THE ROLE AS SUPERMAN! REEVE WOULD LOVE HIM TOO!!!

  • He did a great performance but personally, I think he looks a little bit too young, actually.

  • Don't judge him by his looks. Dude can't act for sh1t!

  • brandon routh was the worst superman i can think of way better people and ones that look more like superman than him

  • thanks friend

  • the song? enyone?

  • @eytychios 3g's - "Crush"

  • The more I see of Routh, the more I'm convinced: he's the right guy to wear the cape. Whatever flaws 'Superman Returns' has, the casting of the lead isn't one of them.

  • @ahutton4140 ...nah, the casting of ALL the leads was bad. Bad Lex, horrible Lois, and average Superman.

But I agree that the plot was even worse.

  • @ahutton4140 true!

  • TOM WELLING IS BEST FOR PLAYING SUPERMAN HE IS GOING TO0 WEAR THE COSTUME AND EVERYONE KNOWS THAT HE WILL ROCK ON THAT COSTUME THAN ROUTH!!!!!!!! christopher reever sadi once tom is the only one who can potray superman!!!!!!!!!

  • Yes Bring Brandon back...Tom is great for Smallville and just as handsome for the role, but come on...stop recasting both Batman (4 different guys) and Superman.

  • i swear to god....if that guy from smallville is superman its all over.

  • There is a poll whether Routh should get the new Superman movie roll, or Tom Welling.

    h t t p : / / w w w . s o d a h e a d . c o m / e n t e r t a i n m e n t / w h o - s h o u l d - p % C 2 % A D l a y - s u p e r m a n / q u e s t i o n - 1 2 8 8 8 1 3 / % C 2 % A D / ? n e w h a p p e n i n g s = 1

You can find it there. And Welling it beating Routh...badly. But this is only because Routh fans are Unaware of the poll! Go forth and put Welling in his place.

    Bring Routh back!

  • Routh was their second choice because Tom Welling didn't want to abandon smallville...What do you think the real superman would have done..make a ton of money off of a movie or stick with a tv series. THOUGHT SO..Welling all the way, Vancouver BC FTW. If you seriously thought Baby Routh here was a good superman, go watch Smallville. You'll seriously wonder what was wrong with you mentally to think otherwise. Smallville is so good that Christopher Reeves actually appeared for two episodes. RIP

  • @Orothan Eh, for the most part, Smallville sucks. Badly. It's got a few good episodes here and there, but it sucks for them most part.

SR, on the other hand, was almost perfect, just a few glaring plot holes. As for acting ability, the two are about equal. They can do GREAT when given a good script. Routh did great with SR with his script. Welling does good when he gets that occasional good script.

Also, CR wouldn't turn down a job. Espescially one that honored his past career.

  • Brandon Routh is THE superman for me and diserves to do the sequel. If its not him I ain't going to see it at the movies. He did an amazing job with superman! and the suit.. wow!

  • by the way...brandon's natural eye colour is brown doh

  • Fuck you all Brandon Routh fans. He looks completely ridicolous in the suit. He's a weak skinny faggot with an annoying nasal voice and no acting skills what-so-ever. The suit in itself looks stupid as hell. The emblem looks retarded and the colors are all fucked up. The emblem needs to be BIG and the colors need to be BRIGHT, because that is what SUPERMAN represents. Fucking hell.

  • @Svittidiu Brandon = THE MAN OF STEEL :-)

  • @longlivereeverouth Brandon = Skinny akward faggot.

  • Comment removed

  • @longlivereeverouth I'm not a Welling fan. Welling is better than Routh, but he's not perfect.

  • @Svittidiu just by looking at your crude language in which you express yourself

show us you are not to be taken seriously.

  • If Welling cant or wont do it than it has to be Routh. There is no one else who could pull it off.

  • Actually the sun recharge scene then the flight under the iland is possibly the greatest superman scene

  • Reeves was always my Superman. Looked just like my Dad. As far as I'm concerned Routh is the new Superman. I cacn't think of anyone who would be better.

  • Nope, i hope routh goes away. IMHO, in my view hiw loyalty isnt "Super" He canned his agent who stood by him in the poor years the minute he got this slot. Superman wouldnt do that. Plus, his voice is too sqeaky.

  • except he oughtta work on his neck-widening skills a bit, and make the "S" bigger next time.

  • Brandon Routh as Superman/Clark... amazing.

  • If they wont put Routh in the next film i`ll shoot their penises and shove a log up their asses!!

putting Tom welling will be awesome aswell though :]

  • We need a sequel to this. How appropriate at the end for it be dedicated to Christopher and Dana Reeve.

  • Kirsten Dunst can make an awesome Lana Lang in this coming sequel from the SPIDER-MAN sequels, also I choose Christopher Plummer to play Professor Emil Hamilton of STAR LABS. Ray Wise "The Reaper" series can also play Lt. Daniel Turpin one of the Metropolis Police Deputy. The villains Metallo and Brainiac will be played by Denis Leary and Jeremy Irons

  • No personality!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @FlorenzAnthony Brandon couldn't act his way out of a paper bag he was the worst superman ever bad choice bad acting bad story bad period!!!!!

  • Dont Bring Him back Use Tom Welling

  • Comment removed

  • No way known.

    You are deluding yourselves.

Superman Returns was an atrocious movie, Smallville has gone on for 10 years... unfortunately Welling has a greater claim to the part.

Neither one will be in the next movie though.

  • @Roper122 Let's not kid ourselves. Smallville isn't a Superman show. It's a show with Superman IN it, but it's not a Superman show. Smallville appeals to the same demographic that 'Twilight' does, thus why it's gone on for ten years.

Rabid teenage girls will flock to anything like that.

  • @GalacticKnight ...Regardless of teenage girls or " Superman " tv shows...Welling would still be better.

Smallville may technically not be Superman ( tv shows always focus on Clark more and Superman less...while Movies tend to be the opposite ) but Welling looks the part and has been playing for years.

Anyone associated with Superman Returns should be shot - including Routh.

    It was a train wreck.

  • @Roper122 Welling barely looks the part. Routh looks it more.

SR actually made almost 400 million dollars, making well over it's development costs back. That's not a train wreck.

  • @GalacticKnight ...yeah, yeah...surprising how they're not racing to make a sequel.

Maybe the character's not working? - no there's a tv show

Maybe superhero movies aren't working? - no they're doing great

Maybe no one wants a Superman movie - no they're making another one.

Add it all up and it means one thing.

    Superman Returns was rubbish.

For a potential blockbuster like that to fail to make it's production budget in domestic gross...is a failure.

  • @Roper122 It DID make it's Production Budget back. It made almost 200 million over it.

The sequel was in the works. Singer was getting another movie.

And then the Dark Knight came out and almost out-sold the Titanic. THAT had the execs thinking 'you know...maybe that film didn't do so well'. THEN the sequel got the axe.

Which really isn't fair, considering it sold more than Batman Begins did (the more fair comparison, since they came out closer to the same date).

  • @GalacticKnight ...well..allow me to retort. If you look again, I said Domestic gross. Films production costs often don't include marketing and advertising etc... But as a general rule the U.S. Gross is the most important number, you've got to make your money in the US ( there are some exceptions but not many )

Batman Begins surpassed it's budget in domestic gross.

    Superman Returns...did not.

The original Hulk was the same ( & it had to be rebooted )

Singer was never going to get a sequel...

  • @Roper122 Source, buddy. If you show how much the marketing budget cost and how it's separate to the production cost.

Yes Singer was. Wern't you paying attention to interviews post-Returns? He was really enthusiastic.

    What IS domestic gross, anyway?

  • @GalacticKnight ..sorry thought I already replied.

    - Source? Give me any listing of Superman Returns - anywhere, that shows it made more than it's budget in domestic gross.

    - Domestic gross? Read carefully, it's basically the money it makes in the US

    - Singer? yes, he did say in interviews that he was going to do a sequel...

Of course he did! What else was he going to say?

" I stuffed this movie up and they're not going to let me do another"

  • @Roper122

    -Source? Alright then.

According to Wiki it's GROSS profits was $391,081,192. On the opening weekend, it took in $52,535,096. Within five days, it took in $84.2 million, a new record for Warner Bros. The record was surpassed BY THE DARK KNIGHT, reaffirming my previous statement about it affecting the sequel to SR.

Superman Returns went on to gross $200,081,192 in North America and $191 million internationally, earning $391,081,192.

I'll have a link up next post.

  • @GalacticKnight " Superman Returns went on to gross $200,081,192 in North America "

Good man... now just tell us what it's budget was... according to WIKI..

    Drum roll please......

  • @Roper122 Ah ah. Gross Profit is profit made not counting what was used to pay expenses. This is the money it made EXTRA.

  • @GalacticKnight Err...no, wait. That's NET. Sorry, I got the two confused.

Anyway, if we are using MONEY to judge how good something is, Twilight must be amazing, due to the amount of bank it brings in.

  • @Roper122 Also, the 200 million was just the profits in North America. We have to count the money made from the international release, which was almost 191 million.

    So yeah, it made money.

  • @GalacticKnight .....Look, for the 100th time.

If a movie doesn't make more than it's budget in domestic gross - it's in trouble.

Adding overseas doesn't help...if it did, then you'd be seeing a sequel.

Everything in that movie sucked, Lois was miscast, the script was terrible, Luthor was miscast, the costume was rubbish, the plot holes were huge...and...wait for it...the actor playing Superman didn't do a very good job.

Reeve was still good in bad Superman movies...Routh wasn't.

  • @Roper122 We've gone on for 100 posts? Wow.

I'd like to see you go through it in detail.

Not according to every person I've talked too on the street. Almost all critics I've read thought Routh did a good job. And if he wasn't a good actor, why is he still finding work? Why is he still getting roles in movies and well known television shows? That shows he WAS a good actor, box office bomb or not.

  • @GalacticKnight ....OK I will go through the box office in detail...

    But before I do

" Brandon Routh lacks charisma as Superman, and I suppose as Clark Kent, he isn't supposed to have any. Routh may have been cast because he looks a little like Reeve, but there are times when he looks more like an action figure" - Roger Ebert

Ebert must be a Tom Welling fan?

    But still...what would he know?

According to you everyone loved Routh.

  • @Roper122 Roger Ebert it a troll who doesn't like anything. Saying it now. And his personal opinion doesn't stop SR from having a 76% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Clearly a lot of people liked the film.

Everyone I personally ASKED liked Routh.

  • @GalacticKnight ... Oh my...a 76% Tomato...gosh...I must be wrong

    ...

" Joe Morgenstern from The Wall Street Journal also gave a positive review, but observed Routh's and Bosworth's acting was "somewhat dead or super average. Nothing special."

    So..liked the film...didn't like Routh.

Point is.. you and your friends may like Routh, but it's not hard to find people who didn't, AND the movie didn't perform...AND the movie had heaps wrong with it...AND Routh was one of those things.

    "

  • @Roper122 Look, 76% percent is a dang good number.

Joe Morgenstern is one out of many.

It's also not hard to find people who DO like Routh. Take a look at many of the responses to this video, for instance (the ones that want Routh back, not the guys like you).

  • @GalacticKnight ...Point is,

You can't use the box office to defend Routh

    &

You can't claim that everyone thought he was great

Fact is, the movie was terrible, and he was very ordinary...he won't get another shot.

( meanwhile, just as an aside, these videos, with the stills, and choice of music, seem a little gay - which is A-OK...but again, thinking someone is attractive doesn't make them act better )

  • @Roper122 Point is, you can't blame an actor with poor material for the movie being poor.

I'm not going to debate this with you anymore. Can we please just agree to disagree on this subject?

  • @GalacticKnight ...oh it's cool...I'm all fine with agreeing to disagree.

I just think there's a lot of misconceptions about that movie.

People are free to have an opinion.

Next we can start up on whether Ryan Reynolds will be a good Green Lantern ; )

  • @Roper122 Alright, cool.

Eh, Ryan would be a good Kyle Raynor, but we'll have to see how he handles being Hal Jordon.

  • @GalacticKnight ... hard to know from the trailer. We'll have to wait and see.

  • @GalacticKnight " A film's financial success is often measured by its gross revenue. Studios expect that a film's "domestic" (which the American film industry defines as the United States and Canada, and other film industries define as their home country) box office gross revenue will exceed production costs. This does not make the film profitable; typically, the exhibiting theater keeps 45% of the gross, with the remainder paid to the studio as the rental fee. - WIKI

    any questions?

  • @Roper122 No, considering that I already knew all of that. :P

  • @Roper122

This goes on to say that SR was the sixth highest grossing film in 2006 domestically. World wide, it was ninth.

  • @GalacticKnight " SR was the sixth highest grossing film in 2006 domestically " oooohhh gee? Really? OK let's list the 2006 top six movies that made more than their budgets domestically. Pirates - Yes Cars - Yes X-men 3 - Yes Night at the Museum - Yes Da Vinci Code - Yes Supes???? - Uh Oh. One of these kids is not like the others And the other 5 all got sequels.. and Supes didn't.. hmmmmm? It's not rocket science really is it?
  • @Roper122 Cars never got a sequel. And hey, Six is still in the top ten. It still did very well. It made a lot of money. And it WOULD be getting a sequel. It WAS going to have a sequel.

And besides, didn't this debate start about Rouths acting abilities? Yeah, it did. It wasn't his fault that the film didn't do better. The top three complaints I here about Superman Returns are:

    #1: How derivative it was.

    #2: The plot holes.

#3: How weak Lois was in the film.

    It wasn't his fault.

  • @Roper122 No, actually, #4 was the KID.

#5: Was how Superman behaved Out of character some of the time.

^That was a fault of the WRITER'S. Not Routh, who just acted out what he was given.

I have heard almost no complaints about Rouths preformance from critics or people who have seen the film on the street. The only people I hear complaining about Routh are Welling fans.

  • Brandon Routh for Superman, he's perfect for the role

  • @setHunter, Why?

  • im superman fans

  • The two R's are the only superman allow (Reeves and Routh)

  • has to be tom

  • no thanks, Routh = FAIL superman

  • Routh seemed kinda stiff to me.. Or is it im so use to Welling..Doesnt ANYONE think Welling would be a good younger Supes?!?!

  • @batmanlooksgood He WAS good as a Younger Supes. But he's in Metropolis now!

And as for Routh's acting...I gotta put the blame on the directors and writers. He's fine in other films that I've seen.

  • @GalacticKnight , What films have you seen Routh in? He's just a stiff actor, he sucks.

  • @Chimera1591 He was pretty good in Scott Pilgrim vs the World.

  • @batmanlooksgood, No, he's a stiff actor.

  • A superman movie cannot survive on its own which is why they need to add the Justice League and then the movie will be awesome.

  • @jdave17 Especially since MARVEL is playing catch up nowadays. youve heard about the Avengers right? Hurry up with "The justice league"

  • i agree he is perfect as superman tom weeling is only good for young clark

there was nothing wrong with his acting

the problem is the villain superman has the worst arch nemesis one of the reasons wht batman is slightly better than superman is batman has an excellent rogues gallery

    superman 2bring in dark seid!

  • routh is a fucking robot....NO!!!!

  • Please... BRING ROUTH BACK AS SUPERMAN! He's perfect in the role! Period.

  • Routh was excellent as the Superman half. Not so much as Clark Kent. Reeve will never be surpassed in that area anyways.

Welling would be a good choice. They should move the Superman franchise over to film by using Smallville once it wraps up. Welling and Durance have fantastic chemistry and she makes an awesome Lois Lane. Perfect really.

  • no way dude, he was the worst clark kent I have seen in my life!!!!!

  • Ok...Brandon back and Jude Law as General Zod....he can do the evil eyes of Zod...would be interesting since......they keep Brian Singer far from direction otherwise we would have another family drama and we need a real action movie.....

  • routh is great as superman but theyre gonna use josh hartnet as superman in "the man of steel"

  • Brandon routh IS superman! and will always be !!!

    a true superhuman indeed

  • i like the song it's like THEY are going to throw BRANDON ROUTH out and i hope not... i think he can be awesome in fight scenes...but THEY should go all out and do the next one with doomsday but superman doesn't die just barely wins that would be awesome and also kills off lex luther at the same time

  • He really did do a great job with the role. Why doesn't this movie have a sequel yet?

  • if he bulked up more he bit skinny to be super man?

  • Tom Welling is this generations Superman

  • Brandon Routh is THE Superman. I'm even naming my future kid after him.

  • I love Superman, I guess everyone does. Superman will never fade away, there will be a sequel to it in the future maybe the writer is thinking of the right ideas. He's on of my superhero.

  • I agree. Nolan should cast him again. He did the best he could with a weak script.

  • they should totally bring back brandon routh, brandon really embodies superman and i really think he has the potiental to be a good superman with the right script and right cast, i loved him in superman returns, didn't love the story or the movie but i loved his protrayal of superman, he reminded me so much of christopher reeves superman, he stayed true to the way reeves portrayed superman but didn't completely copy him he kinda made it his own, routh is the next generation superman

  • his middle name is Superman!

Brandon Superman Routh - he should stay forever as Superman

  • i second that - he is such a real superman....

  • Brandon Routh is The Ultimate Superman.I can't wait for the sequel.......

  • we dont kno if brandon will be superman in the next movie tho

  • I like Brandon Routh - he did a better job than could be expected. Hope they decide to do another movie with a stronger, more exciting story (hopefully, somehow without the kid and without Richard), maybe with a different lois, better coloration. I liked the score and the editing so Ottman should stay and even though i'm not a big Singer- fan i think at least he didn't turn SR into the flying disco some other directors had in mind.

  • @Gearbanger101 Go Screw a goat - i think you need it - come back when you are relaxed.

  • @SimsMoyal @SimsMoyal

Hahaha.please tell me you're a 16-year-old girl that hacked her big brothers Youtube account and not the 28-year-old male you state in your profile!?! I can't wrap my head around any strait guy getting this worked up over someone bashing on the pretty boy who ruined Christopher Reeves legacy. And go screw a goat??? Is that what you guys do to pass the time in Israel? No wonder you're so easily provoked! lol

  • @Gearbanger101

LOL...... you had to write it THREE time until you got it right ? that's shows who you are here :-)

  • @SimsMoyal Sorry, I got distracted screwing your goat. Now, feel free to go back to your room and continue masturbating to the Brandon Routh poster over your bed. :)

  • I was stunned to hear people didn't like Routh. I thought he did a GREAT job. He didn't overdo it, he didn't underdo it. Just perfect. When the guy shot his, eye, he just calmly looked at the guy with an almost invisible, almost apologetic smile: "Uh, sorry, sir. Nice try. I've got to hand you over to the authorities now. Have a nice day."

  • i agree with that - Brandon IS the Superman of our time - i am sorry but i dont count Tom as a superman he is missing something. Superman returns 2 with or without Routh doesn't matter cause Brandon will stay superman.

  • tom is missin the looks and everything

  • The costume. :P

  • @SimsMoyal He's missing the tights. :P

  • @SimsMoyal Dana Reeve give her blessing to Brandon Routh to be her late husband' successor as Superman.

  • @longlivereeverouth Christopher Reeves in person gave Tom Welling his blessing.

  • @SimsMoyal Routh seems to be portraying Christopher Reeves more than Superman, whereas Reeves made us believe he WAS Superman. I feel the whole story needs retelling with a new format and completely different actors, hopefully the next generation of Superman movies will do just that!!

  • @merikwolf well i have to disagree with you - i think it will be a really miss not take Brandon again for this roll

  • @SimsMoyal Going out on a limb here, but I think you don't think of Tom Welling as Superman because you either don't watch much Smallville or he's not in the suit yet. Actually the suit on Smallville is straight from Superman Returns which is cool. I think if Brandon couldn't be Superman for some reason, Tom would be the best choice. I mean come on, they are thinking about the guy who plays Chuck on the show Chuck, they got to be kidding, horrible choice.

  • @AlwaysSomething its funny though cause befor they were getting ready to make the film superman returns the first person on there mind they wanted to pick was tom welling but he couldt do it cause he was on the contrack with smallville

  • @AlwaysSomething well i have watched Smallville much like i have watched everything that is Superman related - and i am telling you i still hold my opinion.

you of course is entitled to your opinion - it's a free country, but i am still in my opinion that Tom is not Superman and Brandon is just 100% perfect for the role.

  • @SimsMoyal " Brandon is just 100% perfect for the role. "

Pardon me for interrupting ... but...

    regardless of anyones opinion..

He 100% failed in the role, and he wont get it again

    End of story.

  • @Roper122

well that is what YOU think - it doesn't really means that's what happened in reality - there is a way to go between a fact and an opinion.

i think - Routh was unforgetable - it's like he really has those powers in real life so he was used to them and that's why he was so natural.

  • @SimsMoyal " well that is what YOU think "

    Yeah?

Well I think George Clooney was unforgettable as Batman.. it was like he really was the caped crusader in real life.

But is he going to get another shot at it?

    No.

    Because the movie sucked.

So... enjoy your opinion... the rest of us will go with someone new as Superman.

  • @Roper122 you compersion in not relevant cause Clooney in Batman was bad and the box office showed it - something which isn't the case here.

if the movie sucked so much it wouldn't have gross quite nicely as it did

    meaning he was good.

so you can enjoy your opinion - the rest of us (and here we are majority) will go with the true superman - routh

  • @SimsMoyal ... actually my comparison was spot on.

I've already spent a number of posts explaining to someone else how Superman Returns did badly at the box office... you can scroll down and read them.

Or I can explain it to you too if you like.

But if my box office numbers prove correct ( which they are ) then by your own logic...Routh sucked, just like Clooney.

( oh and yes...you are the majority here...this is a youtube clip devoted to people who can't accept reality )
