Performed by a friend at my husband's memorial service February 11, 2012. A song that meant a lot to both my husband and me. A fitting tribute. Thanks Chris.
What a beautiful song, my heart overflows with this sentiment- I wish I had known this song when my loving wife passed away it would have been perfect...........my tears drown me
I will carry this song in my heart along the path of life.
I pray for the spirit of Love to decend on you and keep you during the times that you aren't busy on your tour. You know that Clarence's physical presence will not be there, but you know that his spirit will be close by, and that the special love and bond that you carry in your heart is real.
This spring following a warm gentle rain, really behold the beauty of the flowers, God has promised that Love will bloom again.
One of the most beautiful ever we had this song played at our wedding 10yrs ago we love bruce and wanted him to be part of our great day thanks for the great music xxx

@dipsht85: Heck, I'd even be satisfied to know what video/concert film/whatever this was recorded for. Seems odd that it would've been just randomly recorded for nothing.
Such an Amazing Song! Love these guys! RIP Danny and Big Man Clarence.... Hey yall if u could please check out my cover of this beautiful song on my Channel!!! Thank you if u do
This is truly an amazingly beautiful song and video.I just love the simplicity of having each singer just walk to the microphone and sing their part.It is so perfect for this song. And they are all so amazingly talented.I must admit I choke up when Clarence starts to play his sax.And when he starts to sing...............Rest in Peace Big Man.
This is a matter of sharing one's heart with their friends (us) and having no boundaries or restraints, pure love poured out in a song to all of us...
This song always reminds me of my boyfriend who perished on 9/11 .... your memory always lies in my mind and I will never forget your smile or laugh I love you

I am 12 years old, and came from Norway. (I'm not so good in English.) But i really love this song! When Bruce and the E street band where in Norway, i was there, in Oslo. And it's was so fantastic.
This version is really good! Thumbs up if you agree!

i know i'm going to take alot of heat for saying this, but this is proof of how over rated this guy is. this is painful to listen to... just AWFUL! he can't sing, that's all there is to it! yes, he writes well, but that's where it ends. this song was given a beautiful, magnificent do over by linda ronstadt on her unjustly overlooked 1998 album ''we ran''. ms ronstadt brought to this song emotion, range, and the one thing that makes a song fantastic... ATMOSPHERE! IMHO, linda owns this one!
@Likeadiamondsnake He has kept an great rock voice for decades. You are obviously in your own world. For the genre of Rock and Roll, Bruce Springsteen is amazing. Will you see him singing jazz, no, but that's because he's made for Rock. You don't understand genraic difference. You're probably trying to find a way to be a rebel, but go somewhere else to do that. We want to enjoy The Boss!
There is so much emotion in this song. True friends that love and support each other. Danny and Clarence have moved on and will watch over and guide all the rest of you. How lucky we all are to see such beauty performed by musical icons...

@krocstyle I tried to post the link but it's not working. Search for If I Sould Fall Behind live in Dublin on Ultimate Guitar. The tab on there seems pretty spot on.

The version I love the most, is the live one on the concert Live in New York City. Ever since I was born, I listen to Bruce and his band. such a great song...to see the boss hand over the mike, so graciously, to his bandmates...this song is a tribute in itself.

This is the first video I thought of after hearing about Clarence Clemons. This slices right through me. A fond adieu to a memorable spirit.

RIP Big Man. Now you can be jamming in that concert venue in the sky with your fellow bandmate Danny Federici. We'll miss you here, but look forward to seeing and hearing you on the other side.

It always sounds empty when we say we'll miss celebrities we didn't personally know when they die, but I feel very sad we have lost the Big Man. Thanks for your memories big fella.

R.I.P. Clarence.
I hope you are looking down and see all the tears, laughter and joy that you have and will continue to bring to our lives.
It seems for now we have fallen behind but you will be waiting for us - hopefully playing the sax - so one day we will follow you home!
Not goodbye Big Guy . . . just until we meet again.
