hi im new to baseball,

now i know what strike and outs are but what does that ball means?

The pitcher has to get the ball through the strike zone in order for it to be a strike. If he doesn't and the batter doesn't swing the bat, that's a ball. If that happens four times in a plate appearance, that's a walk, or 'base on balls'
