dont rate your set up at all !...sorry but imac isnt that good for sound, now if you were running a pc with your mother board as a sabertooth 990fx with the sound output as studio quality into a valve amp then you might have something worth listening to....as for your speakers .....nothing special these days

There are some great tools for adding some clean low end bass with a sub without all of the boomy sound. Still sounds great!!

lol of course he'll have some bass lost,there only 6 or 5" woofers. He needs a sub woofer if he wants the low low bass notes.

I have a sub woofer B&W ASW610 but i use it only for watch bluray films. I hate sub for music!!!

@sikulo69 you may need to change the speaker crossover settings inside the onkyo to make the bookshelfs give you bass for the music
