I agree with you to 100% what you say about Mike Dowling (maybe I will have to buy Part 2 of this DVD too). He is a wonderful player AND teacher.

I never checked out some stuff like this, sounds somewhere between rag and Hawaiian, wonderful piece and your playing is just great (as always)!

Great job as usual. I'm a big Mike Dowling fan and have both bottleneck instructional videos. Haven't made it past Swamp Dog Blues yet, but I've been able to pick up many little licks and tips. I got a chance to see Mike in person recently and he really is head and shoulders above his contemporaries as far as the 3t's (timing, tone and taste).Your videos are always inspirational. escellent(had a beer). just out of curiosity, how high id the action on that guitar? I play my old houndog, gibson mostly with a brass tube. I see you have a glass one and you can use yoour fingers real good. not that I could do it like you on any instrument, I can just barely punch out a few notes. my action is a little high--what gibson sent out. not that I'm going to change it but above the 5th fret I can scarcely do it.
