@countrybluegrass I was at the game. It was VERY physical in soccer standards from the start. BOTH teams were aggressive but UNM was out of control. There is a difference between a jab and a bunch, a trip and flying in to take someone s knee out, a tug on the shorts and trying to rip her head off... We all enjoy a physical game but if you cant see that UNM was way out of line then youre obviously biased.

@countrybluegrass That being said, the real vilian here is her coach, Kit Vela. She undoubtably asked those girls to play rough after suffering a 3-0 defeat earlier in the season. She certainly saw the kind of actions taking place throughout the game but said nothing to prevent them. Then when all hell borke lose for the poor girl they threw her to the wolves. This is typical for the UNM athletic department. Its just a shame it ruined Lamberts entire senior season.

It is fun to watch because everyone enjoys a good catfight, but not a big deal since it was just one game with a small grudge match between the three girls.
