  • Hahahahaha! typical F1 driver at the start overtaking everyone in sight while conducting a conversation while gesticulating with both hands frequently leaving the steering wheel..while making it all look so easy!! I've often thought that for racing drivers driving on public roads must seem such a bore & sooo slow!!

  • is that Peter Warr with Emerson at the begining?

  • Yes, with the spectacles.

  • Thanx for posting! Great seeing Colin Chapman lobbing his cap in the air as Fittipaldi crosses the line for the win. I met Chapman in '75 on the pit lane during the'75 GBGP when I wondered down to the JPS Lotus pit so I could get up close & personal with the team & particularly Ronnie Peterson who to me was God! Colin asked what I was doing there? When I told him he politely sent me back to the 'Hesketh Racing' pit, to where I'd come from in the 1stplace & where I was supposed to stay. I was 11!

  • Where's the sound?? It's not Emerson or Peter Warr..it's Howden Ganley & some1 I cannot remember..sorry 'bout that..You can see this with sound on the '1972 Formula One season review' btw..

  • @Waitingforriki Peter Gethin is driving the Mercedes and I think you are right, it could be Howden Ganley's nose next to him. Gethin of course won the race the year before. Warr and Emerson come later on (Emerson is in the Lotus with his helmet on and Warr next to him). Thanks for your comments on origin of this film, I had no idea, just got it on an old cassette, and there is no sound...

  • Lotus 72 D + Emerson Fittipaldi = FANTASTIC!

  • Great move to avoid Stewart's slow car.Fittipaldi champion
