@Wayneman117 - There is a lot to do and not everything happens every night...including fantasmic. I highly recommend getting the Unofficial Guide book. It has a lot of great tips to maximize your time.

@brytyme -I bought the "official" guide about 3 months ago...then learned alittle bit later that I should had gotton the UNOFFICIAL guide...So, a few weeks back I went into my local book store and picked up the unoffical guide and scanned through it a bit...to be honest with you, there didn't seem to be alot of difference really...to me?

I went a week ago to the 10:30 show, it was very hot outside but it was amazing. Waited in line more than an hour and got seats right in the middle. It was odd though, the right side display lasers were not working, so nobody could be seated in that section.

I really can't believe I haven't seen this yet. last time I was down there, it was for my senior trip and we left the day we went to Hollywood Studios and that was before it was dark to see the show unfortunately.

its a great show! especially if you sit real up close like the first five rows. you feel the fire and energy up there its amazing!

you have to go about 45 minutes to an hour before but its not that bad if you bring dinner with you for the wait.

This is my favorite nighttime show at Disney World. I love that it involves a story, and many of the effects are really impressive. How can you not grin when Sorcerer Mickey vanquishes the villains?

Actually it was the first week in December. The crowds weren't heavy, but that show was full.

oh, that's good to know, i'm planning on going to DW sometime again in the future the first week or so of December. That's the time I hear is best to go. You get to see the Christmas decorations...light crowds...I'm sure the temps are good too. Last time I went was this past May and it was BURNING hot. Mid-90s everyday :(

I will actually be going to Disney World on Monday for the fourth time. I have never seen this show before and I think I want to. I like how the audience does the wave. LOL. But I have always been afraid of the villians. I know it sounds dumb. But anyway I think I might go. The fact that Beauty and the Beast is in it makes me want to see it!

if you use your imagination. You can do anything. I'm glad I saw it though, even in the pouring rain. It was a good show. Better than probably seeing the fireworks at the castle.

what kind of camera do you use?

I used a Sony DCR-SR100. I highly recommend it. It is small and no cds or tapes. I had to lower the quality to post on here. The videos look great and the sound is fantastic.

Hey! When you recorded this in December of 2006, I was also there during that time! I was one of the people in the audience following that "wave" the crowd was making. It's a coincidence that YOU would record this during that same month and year I went on my 1st visit to Disney World! Quite an impressive year!
