  • Scholarship, people! Roy had three wives, the first, Lucille Ascolese, in the early 1930s, the second, Grace Arline Wilkins, 1936-1946, died shortly after Roy Jr. ("Dusty") was born, the third, Dale Evans, 1947 onward. Most of his life was lived with two wives, Grace leaving him via death. This is very traditional by Hollywood standards, cowpokes!

  • Good grief, who is this? Why couldn't they have used B.J.? This is so wimpy by comparison. Total yuck!!.

  • Its a wonderful story :)

  • If by old fashioned the pictures mean divorce ? We're looking at two different wives for Roy Rogers, He left one for the other. VERY old fashioned, but not the kind MY parents practised...

  • Oh you big silly! This is a classy family. NO, Roy did not leave wife #1. She died after their son, Roy Rogers, Jr. was born and he came home from the hospital with no mom. Dale Evans married Roy a couple of years later, and their marriage was centered on Faith and Family, love of God and love of Country.

Love the music. Love the pictures. Thanks to whomever posted this treasure!

  • Sorry... I stand corrected. Thank you. Bye

  • Really nice song and compilation of photos!

  • This is wonderful!
