You also have to remember this is a song that for meny is being prefered on cd than live version because it is a hard one to do it awesome live...Monika wasent better she had a pop voice and this girl is really hard to judge just from this performace..but she seems BURNED OUT

this song is the hardest one from its album, but honestly, Sirenia isn't very difficult vocally. The last two albums have been a lot more challenging in comparison to the first two, but I think that Sirenia vocals is more about the mood they get accross than having an impressive difficulty level. they're nowhere near as hard as most other female fronted bands, like NW, epica, or WT for example.

She´s singing much easier songa than Anette. Ailyn is good, but I don´t think that better than Anette. But maybe it is just bad quality of the sound

Why is it now automatic to compare Anette to new singers? Can you tell me what does she have to do with Sirenia? And to judge which of the two sucks harder than the other, you'll have to wait for a good quality video where Ailyn sings.

Anette was the first one chosen to replace to someone in the female fronted metal world so thats why the connection...Ailyn doesnt belong in Sirenia.....Morten shoulda chosen someone like Vibeke

No I wouldn´t, I´ve just listened to another live video of Aylin (with better sound quality), yes, she has nice voice, but I think she wouldn´t be able to sing Nightwish songs as good as Anette does. When Aylin is singing low notes, it doesn ´t sounds good. And I miss power and passion in her voice. I´m not saying, that Aylin is bad- she fits into Sirenia, she can sing Sirenia songs, she sing them well, but I think she couldn´t sing NW songs good.

If Anette belongs to NW or not is not my decision to make, it is just NW decision and they know why they choose her and I accept it. And I really like how she sing some Tarja´s song (especially Wishmaster and Creek Mary´s Blood). And her new song are great, too.... But obviously it is question of oppinion....

in my opinion there are very few that have trained their whole range good and not only their tessitura{the notes that they sound better,for example a mezzo soprano,in the middle,etc},floor jansen has very well trained low notes,tarja hasnt in my opinion,they are very flat and powerless,in the pause in bless the child,it was mediocre i think

I didn´t said, that Tarja´s low notes were good, I said, that they were better than Aylin´s. Of course, Aylin is not classicaly trained, but Anette is not, too. I´ve just wanted to point out, as a reply od someone´s somment, that IMHO Aylin wouldn´t sing NW songs better than Anette...

morten hasnt chosen for sirenia very good singers,this is true,but ailyn has a very sweet voice that fits very well these songs,in my opinion and better than monika pedersen for sure.and she seems to be a very good person

all the singers that fronted sirenia sound to me like light sopranos that sing in a pop way like sarah brightman.i like that kind of voices:D,speaking about gothick feeling,hmmmm they re a litlle up-tempo and so doomy for sure.i am ok with that too.
