"You're the one who taught me about the silence" is the name of this song... and one of the most important things that Steve taught me when I was working for him was when NOT to play... that silence is part of the music as well. So yeah, this is my tribute to my biggest hero as an artist and as a person. The song is my homage to him. So I guess the Vai influence is all over the place! haha
