Thank you so, so, so much. I haven't sewed in over 10 years and i was so frustrated trying to do this because my manual was useless. You have saved me so much frustration.
-w- oooo, thanks. i managed to load the bobbin and load the small metal piece at the bottom, what I couldn't figure out was how was the bobbin thread going to come up? needle catches it v.v thank you much!
OMG!!!! I don't know what I would have done without this tutorial. My stupid machine either came with no manual or I lost it (bought it on sale for every cheap cause the box was open), and since then bobbin winding has been a chore. With your help I just winded 6 bobbins in no time at all. <3
Well I tried this, and it did help a bit. What do you do when you get a huge CLOT of thread tangled up in what your doing, so the sewing machine gets stuck? I'm making a fursuit, and can't exactly figure it all out. :)
thank you so much a lot of the other tutorials had a different version of a sewing machine and mine no longer has instructions due to it being a hammy down.
this is a great video. it gets to the point, you show things up close and make it easy. expert village usually breaks up their videos in the middle which makes it frustrating. I am going to watch more. thanks
Very helpful. Does your bobbin not have holes in it? I thought the thread was supposed to go through the top, so I was surprised when I didn't see this. Anyway, excellent video series!
Thank you! I borrowed my mom's ancient sewing machine and it's quite different from yours, but hopefully this will help me look for what I need to do.

Thanks for the video! It would have been nice if you used a dark colored thread because it's kinda hard to see it against the white sewing machine.

What is a bobbin for? What exactly does it do? Sorry for such a simpleton question, but I'm a beginner.
insanecaine 3 months ago
@insanecaine It basically sews from the underside of the fabric, and locks in the thread that's sewing on top.

you thread the bobbin different from what my manual says. It tells me to pull the thread through the hole & such, but your way looks so much easier!!
