Cont... Is reality flashing on and off, only too quickly to see? This thought has been boggling my mind for the past few days ha ha! Good video by the way, it's a relatively new subject to me and I'm finding it fascinating!
Cont... You can keep doing this forever. Question: what is the smallest movement your finger can make, between A and B? If we say that the distance between A and B is the smallest movement an object can make, somewhat like the movement from one pixel to another pixel on a computer monitor, then what would that movement look like if we could zoom in and look at it? How does the object move, or jump, from A to B? Does the object disappear from A and reappear at B, like a computer graphic? Cont...
I've been thinking about something recently that is bending my mind, related to what you said about reality being like a computer program. You may find this interesting. Imagine zooming into the very edge of your finger, the atom or particle on the edge. Move to the next available space. Call that space A. Imagine another space, anywhere other than A, and call it B. Divide the space between A and B with lines, then zoom into the space next to A, then divide that space with lines again. Cont...
Traitz isn't speaking of God in the typical, anthropromorphic sense. He takes more of a deist approach, with God as an abstract center, where we are all aspects of the supremely conscious energy that is God.
@Jack95912 You are correct. Unfortunately atheism is as 'fundamentalist' and arrogant in it's certitude as religious based fanaticism. At least agnosticism is intellectually honest
@JamesJTraitz I wouldn't agree at all. People may be arrogant regardless of wheather they are atheists of believers and then they act so when it comes to discussing those issues. Putting them all in one sack is a mistake.
@JamesJTraitz Good...now that we all agreed that atheists are not always arrogant I'd like to point out that it's another generalization. Atheists claim that god doesn't exist simply because of lack of evidence that it does. Once you provide eveidence they would instatntly change their mind (reasonable). I wouldn't call it absolute conviction.
@norrad111 Ok, I'll probably regret starting this, but here's what I have concluded from my experience. I'm not sure many atheists would instantly change their mind if evidence of some form of God came to light. The only evidence a lot of them would accept is perhaps a Polaroid of the bearded fellow in the sky, as many atheists so often refer to it. And they go on about providing evidence for the supernatural, when the supernatural can never exist. Continued...
@norrad111 I think there is evidence that something that could be thought of as a God exists. The fact that consciousness exists. Awareness. Something every living thing has, to a certain degree. How did something that isn't aware give forth to something that is aware? It's not going to happen, unless there's some very special ingredients involved, ingredients that have always had the potential to possess awareness, or have always possessed awareness. It has to be one of the two.
@1simonmatthews Why would you regret saying what you think? It's ok with me...i don't mind. As for atheists whou wouldnt convert when faced an evidence of God's existance, well I thiink they are probably not atheists but straight morons then.
@norrad111 To be truly open minded one would be neither an atheist or a theist. This is where I am. I'd rather not be pigeonholed. I do stand by the logic of my comments though, I think it is watertight. Whether potential consciousness can be thought of as a God or not is anyone's decision, though I think it does show that there are some very special ingredients in existence, and that no one can deny :-)
@norrad111 So the universe has always contained either ingredients that are aware, or ingredients that are potentially aware, and then aware when mixed together. What does potentially aware mean? Something that is unconscious, something asleep? If so, then it seems to me that the ingredients of the universe are trying to wake up, trying to experience themselves in richer ways. It's a living thing. The evidence is there, you just need to really think about it more.
Interesting, but how do you reconcile that with the existance of other concious beings within the same reality. If I exist within my own conciousness and there is no objective reality surely the only conciousness that exists is my own and all other beings on earth are meerly projections.
@Craptola1 Yes and No. We are all individual units of the one consciousness experiencing separately a unique perception created through multiple iterations and channels with the intent to evolve the whole. An Evolutionary Fractal system. You and me are one, yet not the same, so that must mean that we are two? yes! we are, but we are also one..... Both are correct.
As u know, reality is not just pixelated but comes in digitally discrete bits of data @ speeds appearing fluid & smooth. Its a projection of ourselves into a field of probabilistic possibilities subjectively perceived. The objective viewpoint is due 2 this dimension's "heavier" rule set to optimize the growth of our current being's level. All realities & experience are non-physical. They just feel physical when u r in them. The difference being the rules and our perceptions.
awesome. this is how i have been perceiving life for about 4 years now. glad to see someone put out the idea publicly. the field of quantum physics seems to have unveiled the greatest discovery of human history...and 99.9% of individuals are ignoring it!
@mattyelle1 I have a friend that I've tried to teach about the holograpghic nature of reality and the quantum physics discoveries that directly coincide and he thinks I'm crazy. I think people are afraid of the implications of accepting that.

This is awesome still the great JamesJTrait. I like the way you made your point on consciousness at the end of the video. Marvelous!

Perhaps you are defining God too narrowly.

@norrad111 My point is that Atheism as typically expressed is the absolute conviction that God -nor anything spiritual/non-physical does not exist.

@1simonmatthews I know a few atheists myself and believe me they are very open minded, kind and ready to explore reality, certainly not arrogant.
