Sure no problem. I am in no way an official, but I do know a great deal about it. Off the top of my head, I have 2 sources. I was wrong to say that there is "a solid 95-96 percent" of the nuclear fuel still remaining inside. As was mentioned in the video, no one knows for certain, it's still being debated. But, it is believed by many in the scientific and official community, that there was far less than 90 percent of the fuel released into the environment.
I've a few papers by AA Borovoj who gives the largest estimate for the 95-96%. My only issue with it is he mainly cites himself and the initial estimates from mid 1986 in his papers. I'll read up on more of it to make sure that I'm not just making a knee-jerk reaction. But we can both certainly agree that the gentleman who stated that only 1% is left in the reactor is grossly mistaken.
this guy is incorrect when he is talking about how much radiation escaped. there are some other inaccurate statements made, but this was by far the biggest mistake i've come across. only about 5 percent or less of the reactors radioactive fuel was believed to have escaped into the atmosphere, a solid 95-96 percent is still inside the sarcophagus. the fires, were mostly to blame for the release of the radiation, but most of the fuel is still inside the reactor.
Do you have the source for those numbers? Whose study was that? Many different people have done calculations with different assumptions. Whose calculations are you referring to with your "solid 95-96%"?
