@SbarFSakima In the US the item is an antique, not a "firearm" so there are no laws for or against it, no papers required as long as it was manufactured before 1899. I have that one for sale (barrel, not mounting) for $6000. US.

being a NPS ranger, intentionally over charging anything is extremely dangerous and results can be deadly. when firing a historic weapon of any kind, you should first start off with a smaller charge, then move up to normal. that said, i have only once accidentally overcharged a 10 pounder with a 12 pound charge.

Pretty cool! Im using a homemade cannon with .50 diameter and using Whistle mix to fire it, it shoots to half inch steel:)

We only use black cannon powder of either cannon or FG grade. I have no idea what whistle powder is, we don't have any and don't want any.
