ive seen artifical snow but ive never seen snow falling. i live in california ive been to places where it snows (canada) but i was there during the summer. im almost 22 years old. as a kid being mexican and a 1st generation hockey fan the thing that fascinated me was the fact that it was played on ice.

I think they forgot the Sabres were playing too. Especially on the scoreboard. It was all Crosby. It could have been the Leafs versus Crosby, and still the entire coverage wouldn't have changed. Pathetic. Unbiased would have been nice. Was the game in Pittsburgh or in Buffalo territory?

I'm not complaining about anything, and I know where it was. I was there. I'm a fan of hockey. I just don't understand why the broadcasters didn't wear Crosby sweaters. The whole childhood roots with Crosby on the pond, other players started playing only their minor hockey on the pond like Maxim Afinogenov. No special coverage of that. I enjoyed the game. But thought there was too much emphasis on unnecessary facts.

They pump more on individuals, not teams and the game itself anymore. People watch football for football. People just don't watch hockey for hockey unless it's their team when it comes to NHL hockey games.

I'm all in favor of keeping it in the roots, and instead of pushing into another deserted portion of the US where sand flows, lets go back to Winnipeg, or QC, or put one in Hamilton. Bettman needs to go because he is all about commercializing the sport instead of its growth. The advertising was inescapable at this outdoor game. I couldn't walk anywhere without being hounded with advertisements. Bettman's dream come true.

I had to mute the game too because the stupid announcers wouldnt shut up about Sidney Crosby... hes good but not that good, not so good that EVERYTHING he did had to be shown 500000 times... like that one play where he split the defense and fell... the color commentator I sware was gay because he was like "and watch him as he falls to the ice and looks at the ref for a call, just the way he looks at the ref in mid air, hes amazing, unbelievable, spectacular..." I was like SHUT THE HELL UP!
