I don't know if the economy is fantastic in the area that you're in, but assuming that with things as they are, it should be a buyer/leaser's market, so it strikes me just as dopey business to do that. I suspect that they guy probably got the idea as a suggestion from the lawyer who drew up the contract (whose job is to look out for the client). It's bad business to come out with it after you had settled on a different setup. Take your custom elsewhere!
