dont know what your using but on a mpc go to program then tune and tune it up or down according to how fast or slow you want the tempo u dont have to know the exact tempo of the sample usually i speed up the turn table as fast as possible to get more of the sample in, in less time so i suggest that as well but yea pitch/tune (same thing) the sample say the samples 60 bpms beats per minute and ur drums are 90 pitch it up till its the saem use the tap function youll get it close then u can
