i have a glitch for this so you just go back to the steel mill after completing the game and there is mister hammer and his brother when your there you just need to trhow an ice grenade if it doesnt work at 1ce keep throwing until you reach 1 of the 2 then do the stun 1ce and hit him keep hitting until you got 50 by the way after that there isnt any chance of escaping so you need to log off but then you got the trophy

A really easy way to get this achievement is to get the stun attack and use it on one of the clowns with the hammer. Simply hit him until you get a 5 combo chain, do the stun attack and repeat it until you beat him. By the time you've knocked him out, your combo should be well over 50.

I did this in the Gladiator Pit during the Penguin missions. It was so hard because you have to do it ABSOLUTELY PERFECTLY, but I got it and it was such a great achievement (see what i did there)?

There's a really easy way to get this achievement when you fight Clayface. Once he goes down and you have the sword, keep slashing at a regular pace (not too fast or you'll end the combo) and you should get way past 50x. I got 100x.

@TheMRTIMBUK2 press a direction key (w,a,s, or d), as well as the left mouse button, in the direction of your goon, and you will hit. If you miss, then your combo is ruined. If you are hit, then your combo is ruined. Utilizing a successful counter (right mouse button) does not ruin your combo. My advice is to not button bash, as this will get you no where. Try and figure out where your enemies are coming from, press the corresponding direction key and left mousebutton their asses ;)

@DjSintryfical276 Utilize the stun, and then button mash, just hit counter whenever someone gets close and cocks up to hit you. Then go back to mashing the guy you're hitting. Rinse and repeat. Might take some practice but it's an awesome way to build up a combo to either go in freeflow or use your combo takedowns.

I did it on the Joker carnival extreme challenge map. Two titan henchman and Mr Hammer, as soon as you've got ontop of a titan henchmen, hit everything you can and as soon as you jump off lay a load of punches of metal-abs Mr Hammer. Easy!

@ilikepancakes647 stun, and beatdown, if youre quick enough and can counter all other attacks, you can easily get a 16 combo :)

10x combo is easy personally, but everyone has their weak spots lol

For those who don't know what I am talking about in my previous comments, just search for the 200-400+ combo videos from Arkham Asylum on youtube. You will see that pretty much all the guys who get those really high combo scores use the strike and evade technique I discuss in two of my previous comments. None of them stand in the middle of 20 dudes slugging it out, hoping they get all their counters to land. Once you learn the technique, you will get 75+ hit combos routinely.

As I stated in a previous comment, the way these guys do this is not the easiest way to get the 50x combo. The hardest part about getting higher combo scores is countering. If you don't time it right, you either get hit or you do a counter when you don't need to, thus breaking your combo. The best way to avoid that is to just keep leaping out of the crowd, and then hitting x to flow back into the crowd and get your strike. If you immediately evade again, you will not get hit.

There is a MUCH easier way to do this. After you reach 3 hits, keep evading after EVERY STRIKE. It will take you out of the crowd of guys, and you will not need to counter, ever, if you do it right. Just hit X, evade (A+A) and then strike again. Repeat that sequence. I am sure a lot of people already know this strategy, but obviously some don't. And with the amount of thugs in the above video, he should have gotten a triple digit combo instead of less than 60. He missed a TON of criticals.

There is an easier way: All I did was play a combat challenge map with one of those twins with one hand. Just keep hitting and when he tries to hit you just jump over him and hit behind him.

The easiest way to do it is after you first see penguin and you save Riley. When you get to the small alley where you break free fight everyone and then hit penguin. Penguin will fall down and keep mashing X/Square and your meter goes up. Vote this comment if it worked!

@AntiAizen Actually the easiest is at the end of the fight with Clayface at the end and you freeze him. He is frozen and won't attack so you could go on forever with 1000x hit.

i got an exact 50 against 6 (hell yeah, SIX) guys and four of them were armed. the trick isn't to mash the attack button swinging around in every direction, it's: one punch, one guy, move left stick to other thug, one punch, one guy, move left stick, repeat until everyone's down. using the disarm & destroy move was very helpful when i did this

@panteraboosh It's not easy at the start, because there's a definate learning curve to being awesome at it. The trick is to no just mash the buttons. Things like the critical strike, freeflow focus and the takedowns/weapon break moves reward people who don't button-mash as you need to build up a combo to do them.

@3BALL4 Just strike after you did your move. Try it with the 'Beat Down' move. O + square (xbox: B+X). Press square/x when you hit the guy again and again. You know you're doing it when you see 'critical strike' in gold on the left corner of your screen. Also, there are some red marks each time Batman strikes around his body.

You know you are doing the criticals right if instead of getting credit for only one strike, you get credit for two. For instance, let us say you have a 30 hit combo. If your next strike is a critical, the counter will read 32. If it isn't a critical, it will read 31.

I got 200+ at the very beginning when you are fighting penguin right after being thrown in to Arkham city. When you release yourself from the cuffs and defeat everyone penguin will be lying down. And for some reason you can just keep hitting him endlessly. Easiest way for the achievement :)

Another way to get the 50x achievement/trophy is to go through Riddler's Revenge...Pick a brawl map you know you are good at (Like the colisseum-esque area within the museum) and just go to town ^_^

Its realy not hard at all I got like a combo over 100 with batman catwoman and robin on survival of the fitest,so its not impossible specialy on a big area with a lot of people. A word of advice would be to get the critical strike and (not sure if this is right) freeflow mode (the one u get after getting 12 hits) and it becomes a lot easier.

I did it in the Joker fun house boss fight, simply do your thing, avoid getting hit at the start, and keep the combo going. When the one-armed Russian dude appears you simply only attack him, keep punching him. When he, or some other guys, attack you, double-press a/x to jump over the one-arm bandit, and continue.
