Union Busting at the Port of Tacoma

These people were protesting the Port of Tacoma because The 2nd Infintry Division was retrieving its overseas inventory.

It really hurts the troops when we come back from a war to see a bunch of young, ingnorant, anti-american protestors.

I just wanted to pick up my Stryker and go home to my family. But these people held up my convoy for hours. They can only pray to God himself I wasn't armed at the time.

tacoma hasa rich radical history.. the working waterfront was and still is a hub of progressive working class life. as a working class person form Tacoma. i worked for the ilwu at one point. i found the local 23 the most radical long shore union ever. they don't take shit and they fight for us poor folks. keep it up .

I'm not a member of a union. I just agree with them as a benifit to my class and as a matter of justice.

You may have a better retirement than your old man, if his job wasn't unionized than you would have FAR better retirement than him. And getting several dollars of a raise is worth paying a few extra cents in union dues.
