I cannot belive this movie only got a 3 star rating. It's one of my all time favorites and it portrays the minds of school shooters/bombers perfectly.
I actually go to thurston high school. where the shooting took place. it happened when i was in kindergarten.... if you don't live in the thurston community or go to school there i dont think you can understand...
You guys miss the entire point of the play. I have seen this in person, and the point isnt who was bad and who was good. Everyone in this play is the villain, there is no HERO and no SAVIOR. The point is making the right and wrong choices.

The whole point of this play is to prove that violence isn't the answer and to respect others. If there are issues going on in your life you should be able to talk to someone and do a rational thing about it. Josh has no excuse for what he did, even if he was made fun of. I understand that you share common problems as Josh but using gun violence is unnecessary. Not all the deceased are bad, like Emily. Both sides have done something wrong but we should still feel safe at school.
I know you wrote this a while ago, but I'm interested to know why you think Emily is bad.(I'm assuming you're talking about the play here, btw) I'm playing her at the moment and I'm just not seeing it. She does seem a bit angrier than the others, but I think if I was shot I'd be pretty angry too.
i made a video in school based off this play and at the end i wrote is it worth it to put us down prevent this tell a teacher tell a friend and they thought i was sending a bad message . when are people going to open up their eyes and see that talking about not bullying isn't preventing it!

Joel Brooks is the guy who played Josh. He is gorgeous, and an amazing actor. Pretty much if he doesn't end up famous in films and the stage, it's going to be a huge shock to alot of people.
We did this at drama fest, which is pretty much all the high school drama kids getting together and doing plays. Its always alot of fun. We had all 600 students, teachers, and even the ejudicators crying.
The ejudicators were speechless they had nothing to say at all.
The thing is we did this just after the Virgina shooting, so it was really really emotional.

I have never seen the movie. I was in the play that was preformed in the movie which was written by a former student of springfield high in oregon who knew the shooter kip kinkel. everytime i hear or see anything about bang bang your dead it takes me back to highschool. i hope that those who see this movie remember that no matter what you say or do you are affecting someones life.
the play names reasons for his action, but i have the feeling it also takes away his own fault. it is also joshs' fault!!! and he actually is a very egoistic guy! the audience is crying in the end, because they all feel sorry for him and perhaps they feel guilty. but they should recognize that its also him..

wow, that was good...
My school did this play this year, and they did a wonderful job, when the dad died almost every one was crying, and the did such a good job on the acting

This is my fav movie of all time. There is a great message in this movie. And it happens in real life. This made me cry. I want to dp this play. I love it so much.

Gran película muestra la crueldad de los propios jovenes en las escuelas ... despues se preguntan xq hay tantas tragedias ... no es justificable pero igual... esta pelicula se deberia mostrar en escuelas universidades es una muy buena realizacion y me encata ;) ademas la actuacion es muy buena ...

Reality is scarier. Columbine, Virginia Tech, and on and on and on... This movie is necessary, everyone should see it and discuss it depply in every school, in every part.

I have never seen the movie. I was in the play that was preformed in the movie which was written by a former student of springfield high in oregon who knew the shooter kip kinkel. everytime i hear or see anything about bang bang your dead it takes me back to highschool. i hope that those who see this movie remember that no matter what you say or do you are affecting someones life.

the play names reasons for his action, but i have the feeling it also takes away his own fault. it is also joshs' fault!!! and he actually is a very egoistic guy! the audience is crying in the end, because they all feel sorry for him and perhaps they feel guilty. but they should recognize that its also him..

i like the movie, too. watched it once in german *-* and we are going to stage the play "bang bang you're dead" in a few days. but..i think you can criticise the play. josh is egoistic all through the play, ok he feels sorry for the buck, but in the end he is just thinking about he killed his own possibilities.
